What a scam, and free advertising to boot.

Don't be fooled, these types of outfits are making quite a few people tons of money.

Nothing like a busy animal carcass rendering plant up wind from the community. Hey! South Vacaville is down wind from the Hay Road dump making the air pretty ripe during a Delta Breeze. Could be worse.

We don't make any money off of these birds. It costs us far more to care for the hens and place them than anything short of an exorbitant adoption fee would cover. The birds are "donated" by the egg farm, so they don't make any money, either. Folks can google Animal Place and visit our website to find out more.

There went my BS meter, right off the scale. The only way for the cost of care of these animals to be anywhere near that high would be if your "adminitrative expenses", ie your huge salary, were included.

Huh, no response from Marji, I guess she doesn't want to talk about her huge salary or that new $50,000 pick-up truck.

There is a group of horse rescue nuts that used to go to the Roseville auction and buy up all the $100 horses and haul em out in a brand new trailer being pulled by the brand new King Ranch edition pick-up.
Within two days the $100 horse would be on their website for adoption for $750 or more.
