Marin shelter offers 400 starved Central Valley hens up for adoption

The Marin Humane Society in Novato plans to offer more than 400 hens for adoption that were part of some 50,000 found dead and starving at a Central Valley ranch last week.

The majority of the surviving hens were taken in by Animal Place. We can use all the assistance we can get caring for the survivors, whether it is donations, volunteers, or people who would like to adopt some of these hens when they are stable enough.
