The 15 yr old girl that was killed was a school mate of mine. She was very lively and spirited. She will always be missed and loved. I send all my prayers and sorrows to her family and friends. Brit you will be missed. Love you.

I have never met Miss. Lindt, but I know that her friends and family gathered at our church yesterday to pray. Its frightening to think that things like this happen in our community. I mean, I have been to Lewisville Lake, and I attend FMHS, so although I have never met her, her death affects me. I send my deepest regrets for this tragic accident, although I'm sure nothing I say will help. I will be praying for her friends, family, and classmates. God Bless you all.

The visitation and funeral services will be held at Flower Mound Funeral Home - 3550 Firewheel Drive, Flower Mound, TX 75028. Times have not been finalized as far as I know, but the visitation will be Tuesday evening (probably 7p-9p) and the funeral will be Wednesday evening. Calls can be directed to the funeral home for further information.

Nothing can replace a precious life. Everyone please make each day count. I lost my sister in a car accident -- she was only 16. Life is too precious.

My deepest sympathies. We spend a lot of time on Lake Lewisville and I see people being dangerous all the time. I have two sons her age and it breaks my heart.

My heart especially goes out to Brittney's family but the young kids that are going to have to deal with the loss of such a special young girl are also in my heart now. My niece was a friend and class mate also, she is very sad and hurt....why would anyone take such a chance on a life such as this. The thought of any child in the hands of such an irresponsible adult just infuriates me.

I didn't know Brittney, but I do go to Marcus. To me, when a student at Marcus dies, it's like you're losing a member of the family, even though you weren't acquainted with that person. My prayers go out to Brittney's family, her friends, and the people who were with her the day of her death.

I have a younger brother Britteny's age and could not imagine what her big brother and parents are going through. Never take a second forgranted and don't live a day with regret.

I taught Brittney for a few years. And I cannot express how her death has put life into perspective.

It's tragic. It's unfair. It should not have happened. And I shed tears of sadness and (more so) of anger for all of those who have lost her.

No one should ever feel the pain the Lindts and family are feeling. And for that, my deepest sympathies are reserved.

She was special. The droves of people gathered on Wednesday refleft this. May peace find her family.
