I am glad JunkE does post the things that he does, I don't usually agree on a lot of the stuff, like drug use, but I have not yet seen anything that he posted about events not to be true. It sometimes take the Media awhile to catch up. For instance, go to the THREE ARRESTED FOR DRUGS thread and you will see that we lost another young person. The obituary was in todays paper. If you know anything about Lewistown, you would know that from 2003 until the end of 2006 we had nearly 30 deaths of young people, and now from that point, to now, we have not had a lot "which is good" , but is it because the drug situation is getting better, or is it because of the reporting now. You would not know about the deaths of Anna Nicole , her son Daniel, or Keith Ledger, if it wasn't for the media. So what I am saying is, if it wasn't for JunkE posting things that he hears to be true , we will never know how bad the problems with drugs are here in Lewistown. I would not be able to tell you we had nearly 30 deaths of young people here in Mifflin County. It seems like they want to hide the numbers. Remember some of the posts saying they want to makes things look better than they really are. And I still can't figure out why anyone would want the case of the homicides in the fire to be kept quiet. Investigators need information, They will decide what is true and what is not . Thanks JunkE.
Is Port Royal in your Mifflin County? We have immedite family living there. And have they released the names of the victims as this article is no longer available in our newspaper. I did not read the article when first printed.

No , Port Royal is not in Mifflin County , but if you were a Sentinel Reader here in Lewistown , You might think it was , since you get more reporting from Port Royal than you do Lewistown . The second part of your question is this case with the two people killed and the trailer set on fire to cover it up , is over a year old now . So I hardly think you are wondering about your family in Port Royal or you would have heard about it by now . Yes , the names were given more than a year ago and several times since and even a website set up with a link to it given several times on this forum. It's just too bad it is part of anyones family . The killer or killers are still out there with their life , but what a life could you live thinking everyday of what you done ? Each day they are getting closer to justice , one way or another.

My sympathy to the family members. I was just shocked when I seen the headlines but couldn't get information. I am not a Lewistown Newspaper reader. Sorry, I did not mean to appear so ignorant of the situation. Why would someone do such a horrific thing. Was it for robbery or a hate or revenge crime or maybe some one who was mentally sick. They will be caught. You will see. Someone most likely will talk . Today's investigators sre so much more capable with detections than years past. Very rarely can a crimminal escaped with the crime they have commited. Again, please accept my sympathy.

I understand your feelings. We lost a family member at the hands of 3 men who robbed my brother-n-laws business. All for $64.00 from the register. It wasn't in this area. It was in Falls Church, Virginia. What a sad day for our family and especially his children and my sister. He had a 3 month old grandaughter at that time who he adored. She will only know of her grandfather from pictures of him and her.

Like I said , I feel Sorry for any family that has to go though losing a family member , It seems worse when the killer is out there living his life , but as you said , people talk . I look at these kinds of deaths differently than I do with people that mess with drugs , when they know better , and then overdose and die . In this case and your case with your brother-in-law these people wanted to live and these other people don't seem to care if they die or think about who they will be leaving behind because of their actions. Merry Christmas and have a good day . Remember the real reason we celebrate Christmas and it can give us all hope in these kind of cases.

There is the dark side to life. And these evil people are a part of that side and will never know or understand innocence, love and happiness. They never see inside of the eyes, heart and soul of their victims.
Merry Christmas to you and yours , also. may it bring a year of peace in your life and add to that more love.

Thank you for your kind words. You know when some one we love dies so tradgically for me this is my description of the veiwing my memories are vague as our family was in deep sorrow. Till this day the funeral and wake are a haze but the memory of his daily living remains clear. I guess that is what matters most before his life was taken.

And now I heard that Mary's husband passed away yesterday. What a horrible thing to have to deal with a year after losing her child, especially during the holidays again.

My deepest condolences to Mary and the rest of the family.

Yes, my Father did pass away on December 14th. He died of a broken heart. He went home to be with his first born, Sherry Jo. If there is a way, he will solve this case from Heaven. Whoever committed this horrible crime, murdered my Father. He was never the same after November 25, 2007. The pain was too much to deal with and he just let go. Thank you for your concern!
