Are you kidding me? Name one thing he has done for the citizens. He has shown that he has two goals on council. Whatever Selma wants and to harrass the city employees. His head is so far up Selma's butt, that she has to eat beans so he can breathe.

You are SO right about this!! Selma and Lundy are the worst. If it has to do with the city employees benefiting in any way they are AGAINST it - they don't even listen to the details they pretend like they do and just say NO! I for one can't wait to boot them out the door!! Can't we as citizens recall them or something?!? Seems like there should be a way to get our city back!!!!!

the real reason nothing won't change until the members themselves leave on their own terms is because it's just a hand full of people who are complaining about the situation. Until enough people in grantville come together and discuss the issues and viable solutions no change is going to happen in the near future. unfortunately for the City of Grantville which has alot of potential due to its geographic location isn't going to see any change for several more years. How many business have started and closed in the last ten years in Grantville? Why is there seem to always be issues between the city officials and the citizens? As long as the city officials can't agree on the path forward to Grantville's growth there will be none. It takes a leader to lead a team to growth, it's obvious that there is very little training that the city officails have experienced in leadership. I can promise you that Grantville will only grow to the capacity of its city officials to lead as leaders and chart a course for growth.

Has anyone heard who is running for any of the seats? Why do people wait to the last minute to say they are running? Does this have some kind of advantage? Just wondering.

I heard that Jabley started that “Beautification” program because she wanted to get a special business load; one of the requirements for that particular loan was to have a beautification program in the city.

It wasn’t to make Grantville a better place; it was to get what she wanted, as usual.

Yes, I heard that also, it is a very sad thing. Also the people that was put on this committee are not any different from the same ole group, except one who has a business and does not live here. Why don't they ask concern citizens that care and have a interest in our city? It is always the same ole click of people chosen.
