Why the hell don't these conservaturds leave if they hate the left coast? They can go to a place like Idaho or Wyoming where people love their guns and enjoy spending an intimate night with their livestock.

If everyone who owned a gun in Oregon moved out, that would leave about 5 people. Which I guess, if you're one of the 5, would be pretty dang cool...

im thinking of moving to the grants pass area can can you tell if this is a good area or if there is better cities in that area of oregon.
If your looking for a good library, Grants Pass runs a donation based one. The current "Library Director" is a fund raiser. The library system just started, again, after the county shut it down due to the lack of funds. If you want a good library, look to a different city.

Speak for yourself, Debby Downer. I've lived in OR all but 2 years of my life, which I spent in California and it sounds like you may be biased from the fact that you have a horrible miserable life. Oregon rains just like any other place located this far North..it's really not all that different from San Francisco but with less fog. Part of your problem may be that you live in trashy Sherwood- just because it sucks there doesn't mean you can generalize it for the whole state. You should try a place with less meth and white trash like Beaverton or Portland..

Yes. Do not.
If you move from the Bay Area to Portland you will regret it. All the Californians I know who have moved expecting a great, rich,'green', liberal experience have have their expectations demolished.
Californians I know have been made physically sick from the lack of sun and constant rain. The rule of thumb is that it takes 5 years simply to get used to the feeling of claustrophobia and depression but that's simply to 'get used to it.'
Once you get to Oregon though you will find it difficult or impossible to move back. Housing prices do not follow much rhyme or reason and they will not go up fast enough to make it possible to move back at a profit.
Oregon is a hick state. It's almost entirely rural with all of the problems of tolerance, education, civilization and diversity that implies. You can have a bigger house with more trees but your neighbors may vandalize your car with the California plates and you may never see them as they will hole up in their house when not at work.
There is no sense of community in Oregon. There is no sense of shared purpose. It is a very unfriendly place full of people who resent, envy and hate you.
If you buy a house, make sure you have tall fences and thorny plants around you. Vandalism from the explosion of kids is everywhere. Oregonians do not watch their children. They kick them out of the house (cabin fever IMO) and inflict them on everyone else.
It's a throwback to an earlier age where they expect the 'neighborhood' to deal with their kids. There is little sense of responsibility on the part of parents.

Nice- you're a complete fool. You libtards are the reason OR has the highest corporate tax rate in the state and no companies want to do business here. Why don't you learn how the world works before you go spewing your mindless rhetoric. You and the rest of your radical liberal friends should go create your own utopian society to destroy and leave the rest of us to live in the real world. You can take that failure Sam Adams with you.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Virgo

You aren't fooling anyone - it's easy for everyone else to see that inexperienced people are unaware of their obligations, Virgo. You're grumpy about starting a familiar process from the beginning again, but don't let that get in the way of getting on with it. Sour grapes have no place in your daily dealings. Although you may 'own' a project, it's ultimately in the hands of someone else. Deal with it and then move on.
