What I don't get is why are they shutting down the road at Louisiana Boulevard and not say Tramway?

All this talk the last two weeks about how the city and state are well prepared for snow plowing must have been just that, talk.

Are they not plowing the -40 from Louisiana East at all?

Like when there is a fender bending on either the I-40 or I-25 they just shut the entire freeway down.

Hey Mayor Berry and Governor Martinez, GREAT PLANNING.

Please next time don't brag about how well prepared the city and state is for plowing.

Simply say we will do what we can but stop when we want to.

I have seen two plow trucks in our area and our roads are CLEAR as the blue sky, so are those two drivers simply avoiding the real work and sort of pretending to be busy or what?

Granted cities way not of ABQ are in more need of help and plowing but that does not excuse them from plowing here.

And again why shut the highway at Louisiana?

This is NM tradition too, as some of the heaviest traffic volume in the state went on just West of that intersection, so, by tradition ,when they shut down East of there, they do it at Louisiana. Easy to find, heavier use, and San Mateo is too far West and close to the beetleback. San Pedro does not have a connection, so it's Louisiana if you want to shut down things, without causing a traffic backup and snarl.

Using Coors or Tramway would make better sense I'd think.
