Neighbors Frustrated With Housing Development
#1 Aug 6, 2009
I was extremely frustrated after seeing Vicki Webster from the health department on the news last night claim that it was highly unlikely that my children are being affected by the raw sewage in our backyard. Our own dermatologist confirmed the fact that this is an airborne bacteria that we are dealing with and if it comes into contact with Ava's open sores it will cause an infection. We have already taken her to the ER once for this type of infection but had no idea what we were being exposed to at the time (thanks to the health dept. for not informing the families for 2 years.) It is a disturbing feeling knowing that everyone is just pointing the finger of blame at eachother and no one is concerned about the families involved. I would just love to see someone stand up and say "I'm sorry I failed to do my job properly."
