Would like to discuss the murder of Emily Anderson.

First off, why did it take so long for the news to let the public know she was missing? Someone who could have seen something may have forgotten it by now.

But after that -- who killed her?

Anyone care to discuss that?

I have some ideas - and have sent them to the Caldwell Sheriff's office.

Will share if anyone cares to discuss this here.

This morning, someone called the Caldwell Sheriff's department and wanted to ask about the possibility that there were tools missing from the truck - wanted to determine if something they knew about could be related.

The operator informed the caller that the detectives weren't in yet, the caller should call back.

The caller never did. Sometimes people who knock on a door will only knock once.

Maybe the operator could have taken the caller's name and number so a detective could have called back. Maybe the caller could have left a message on voice mail.

Now who knows what will happen with whatever that caller saw?

(Emily told someone she was going to tell Jerry she wanted a divorce. I think that is important and I did email the Caldwell Sheriff's deaprtment with that information.)

Why has nothing been made of the fact that Emily was scheduled to sign on a house in Johnson County, TN at the base of TN's largest dairy CAFO that her husband is to manage for Maymead? Why didn't Jerry mention this to law enforcement agencies in NC?

I don't know anything about this. More detail please.

The people in SC said a man and woman went to the disabled truck and removed tools? IF her husband is the one who did this, who would you think the woman was? A sister? A friend? A girlfriend?

I wish others from the area would join us. I am sure lots of people know just a little.

Mr. Anderson had his wife sign a contract to purchase a house in Johnson County, TN close to TN's largest diary CAFO. Jerry was to manage the CAFO for Wiley Roark of Maymead. During her disappearance, NC law enforcement made no effort to contact the sheriff's department in Johnson County to see if her truck might be up there. The couple had already made friends in Johnson County. Why didn't Jerry lead officers down there to TN to at least post her image in the local paper? Why hasn't any mention of Jerry's first wife's myterious death been mentioned in the press? Sawmill locals testify he is a devout Christian and man of God. I've met him and I don't buy it. I don't know if he's capable of murder, but he's capable of lieing.

Very interesting -- could you share more information on his first wife? Where did that take place? When?

I have actually contacted a couple reporters and asked them to do more on this.

You would think Johnson County would be one of the first places to check when Emily didn't come back and she wasn't found in town considering they were getting ready to move there.

Been watching news unfold on Emily Anderson on Internet...her murder, just found all the info on the CAFO in Johnson County, seems strange that so much uproar there about this MULTI-MILLION dollar business hasn't played into the stories, yet. Very strange about his first wife, was she from North Carolina, too and did it happen in Sawmills?

Goodness, it sounds like all the detectives are on this chat room. I would say that the Sheriff's office knows far more than they tell the press or the family for that matter. How can someone on this forum criticise the police when they don't know the whole story. It is people spreading untruths, like some I have seen on this board that are amazing to the common sense crowd. If all you have to do is critique law enforcement, go to the police academy, get certified and get a job in the profession. Unless you use to and you are no longer employed in that field for a reason. Let them do their jobs and I think you will be surprised by what happens.

Good point. Plus, the FBI are in it and nothing much gets by them, dispite what Hollywood might suggest. In any case, the woman deserves justice and the Sawmills deserves resolution.

I don't think it says anything negative about law enforcement to point out they didn't focus a search in Johnson County in the very beginning. They may not have been told. They seem to be doing a great job and they obviously care very much about what happened to Emily.

I'm sure that the police department knows far more than they are telling, but sometimes behind the scenes conversations might give a lead that wouldn't come forward otherwise. all leads should be investigated whether gossip or truth. I agree that we may all be surprised...maybe bigger than we think, but nonetheless one commom motive, perhaps. The police by far seem to be doing everything they can to only release the information necessary... which is the right thing to do somewhere someone will say the right thing at the wrong time...and the case will break.

Sawmills certainly does need a resolution. What is the community supposed to think? Is it some stranger running around and the citizens aren't safe? Why would a stranger put her in the toolbox of her truck, flatten the tire, and make a call to make sure she's found, anyway? It doesn't make sense. If it was someone against CAFO, why would they do it this way?

I agree BRAINSTORMING is NOT a bad thing. Just a few questions, maybe someone can clear up. Been checking all the news reports in various newspapers,tv,radio, etc. Seems no one can actually pinpoint the times anywhere from 6:30a.m.till 10:00a.m. She was last seen alive. Ans then suddenly...Emily returned home-no information beyond that point only to read that A PAIR OF GLOVES was found with the receipt...where's the other 11 pair that the man at the hardware said she bought? It also seem so coincidental that on Wednesday at the time her friends were to arrive at the funeral service there just happened to be a fire at the rock quarry that she was supposedly last seen alive at. A sign? Of What? Coincidence, maybe. And shame on Wiley Roark(CAFO) for comment- the death will not stop the business plans. And as for God-I-believe-but I do not believe that in God's will does it include a gun,a dead body and toolbox. That sounds more like HUMAN WILL. Throwing God in that picture is absurd. Business partner, friend or no friend. I think even money can be put on hold til the shock wear off. I agree with JustWatching doesn't hurt to open any doors that will help law enforcement. They are working hard and I'm sure that their tired-any lead is better than no lead.
