Lenoir man killed in head-on wreck

A Lenoir man died as a result of a head-on collision on Morris Creek Road in Granite Falls on Thursday afternoon.

What a tradgedy. If it is found that Ms. Sanders was drunk, I hope she fries. There is ABSOLUTELY NO excuse for drinking and driving. And furthermore, to have young children in the car with you after you've been drinking? What??? How selfish (and unbelievably dumb) can a person be?

Well, first of all, not every accident is by a drunk driver.
I agree if you have children in the car you are an idiot if you have been drinking, but come on.
Lets get the facts first before we go planning the punishment. Judgement is not for you to decide!!!!!

she was under the influence and should have known better. it was a shame that she not only put her own life in danger, but the lives of her grandchildren and fellow motorists. this bad case of judgement is one she will live with the rest of her life. she herself has a long road of recovery ahead. my prayers are with BOTH of these families!!! may the Lord bless and heal you all!

To my understanding, the poster wasn't saying that "every" accident is by a drunk driver, but that this one DID involve alcohol, and it put lives of children in jeopardy, as well as taking a life. They gave their hope of how it is dealt with, but I don't see that they were planning the punishment. What facts aren't in yet? Was there an accident? Was the driver drinking? Were children in the car? Did a man lose his life?
