I lost a friend of 14 years to heroin 2 years ago..he was 22.. and honestly one of the sweetest guys I've known..I still feel guilty for his death cuz I was the only sober friend he had..but I moved out of the area & within 6 months he was dead. My dear friend battled a lot of demons in his short life & sadly lost his fight..he was in and out of rehab & truly wanted to get better.but when he got out, he'd be around the same enablers that gave him whatever he wanted.only way to stop H is to leave & start over somewhere else

Obviously GCPD arent getting ahold of the problem quick enough. So, who do we contact next? Do we call and write letters to the mayor or govenor? Just throwing some ideas out there. What about a rally in front of police station?

Put all dealers away for murder. Let the junkies OD. Sounds harsh, i know. Junkies will never stop. They will turn more and more people on to the drug. Does anyone know anybody who was an ex heroin addict? Not really, they're all either dead or in prison. It's the only way out. Its sad. I've personally sent a family member to rehab more than once and he finally just ended up in jail for over a year. Two weeks after he got out he was right back on the shlt. He's now back in jail. Once it's got ahold of you you're done. No good for anyone

Why do you want to beat heroin? It's a personal choice to use or not. Why try to make the dealers look like devils. They're human too and every human life should be cherished.

they are the root of the problem. We could argue about chickens and eggs all day but when it comes down to it the dealer is where it starts. Murder charges for all. Impose a minimum sentence and make it very public. If they can't get the hint then they can serve life in a cage

It would be difficult to have enough proof of who sold the drug to an OD victim to bring on a murder charge, but I like the idea. I like bounty hunter's idea even more. Shoot the damn dealers. That would be a "good thing."

I know this sounds harsh but maybe being drug user doing something illigal to finance your drug habit should be charged for that crime along with mandatory six months. Like a forced rehab in jail. Then when six months is up having the choice to go to rehab. These people cant think straight even after a week off the crap. Its almost like we have to save themselves from themselves. I dont see another way bc they just keep doing it til they are dead. just a thought

Poison all of it!! Once we kill off all the users there is no problem no more. Once the demand is gone there will be no need for supply, problem solved. So what if a lot of people die in the process, the world could use less of these idiots anyway.

It starts with the person wanting to use drugs. If it's not heroin it'll be something else. When you're over 18 you should be able to ingest anything you want into your body. The only person responsible is the person that decides to use.

This may be heartless of me but I dnt feel sorry for any drug addict we all chose our own path in life some of us just chose better obviously the junkies dont want help or theu would get it juat saying so
For people to ask for help overcoming something that they are not strong enough to overcome on their own, is much more difficult than you may conceive.

The devil is only after the soul. It is a great lack of respect for life in favor of material profit that make dealers deal without conscience or feeling about the consequences for the human being they're selling too. The "that's on them," attitude enables denial of personal responsibility. Many are found guilty of not cherishing life, not just the dealers of this death drug, but all over the world.

As long as there is demand for a product, the productivity increases until or unless there is no demand. The potency of this product causes many fatalities, but demand is high because it only takes a little of it to then need a lot of it.

It begins with more than that. Anxiety is a catalyst that leads to many addictions and not just to heroin. Consider that show "My Strange Addiction." The woman who ate the couch cushions, or the woman who tried and became addicted to cat treats tried something they knew they shouldn't do, but felt good to do in the process of doing it, but then after doing it felt awful afterwards. For much of us it is indulging in food, something that is only good for us in moderation, but detrimental to our health in overindulgence. Children and baby creatures literally latch on to their parents when experiencing anxiety, but as age increases, especially with humans, we latch on in other ways for coping.

Just because we put away childish things, doesn't mean we aren't still like children.

Tried that in front of the court house... Did good for awhile, but it's just as bad now.

Find a way to destroy the illegal poppy fields? Hell I don't know but it is way out of control. We can take pictures all over the solar system but can't control or at least decrease the amount of heroin on the streets. wtf?
