I do not condone driving without insurance, i harrassed him every day but he didnt care because he thinks he can ger out of anything. He also drove drunk and spun out in a neighborhood off st. clair. He thought it was hilarious because he didnt hit any other cars.
If you can avoid an accident and drive without insurance, get a ticket, and so easily avoid receiving a ticket there isnt much to fear. People like him need to grow up and accept that there are standards we have to live by. You cant think the world is unfair and laws dont apply to you because you are too poor.
your friend is a total douchebag/pos!!!

i know one thing he would not get out of..a beat down if he EVER caused damage that caused bodily injury...his laughs of sarcasm would never happen again because the tool would never be able to eat solid food again...

and the day he does get locked up, he will not get out of the shower with his virginity intact..

You are lucky. Think on the other hand if someone one welfare living in the KP hit you. They have nothing to take...life goes on

In NC your insurance is tied into a vehicles registration/plates. If you don't keep insurance the cars registration/plates are revoked. To get them back you have to provide proof of new insurance to be able to get new registration/plates on the car.
Simple yet effective and I don't understand why every state does not do this.
I love it when people judge my post.I feel so special.

But if you think I am clueless please prove me wrong!

Thanks again for the judging. lol

I heard some states will not issue a drivers license w/o proof of insurance.

Other than to increase revenue, why does a car that is not being driven have to be insured? If I had my license suspended and therefore would not be driving my car, why keep insurance? If my car was broke down and it would take a long time to have the funds for repairs, why keep insurance?

I am not a lawyer. I believe though if your car was stolen and was used in a manner that caused damages you, as the owner of the property, would ultimatly share in the liability.

first the insurance covers a specific vehicle and second it covers the individual...

but as i said..the secured portions of insurance are deligated to a specific vehicle..this is why you get an insurance card for each vehicle with its corresponding VIN...

if i own two vehicles..A and B..and A has insurance and B does not..if i get pulled over in B and show the card to A...i get a ticket..

sort of like having valid tags on A and not B...and just because i have valid tags on a vehicle does not grant me the ability to drive an untagged vehicle and consider it being legal...

hope that made sense...

If you don't have insurance and then try to get insurance, you sometimes become labeled as high risk and your premium increases.

If you have a DUI revocation, you need insurance prior to reinstatement.

My insurance company is now rating based on miles driven in a year. Not cheap considering I commute 45 miles each way everyday

They also charge more if you have a car model that gets stolen often, or if you live in a higher crime area.

Did you know your credit report also counts? I found this out when I was late on a payment. I went to the office to pay and my amount due was less than what was on my statement. I questioned this and the person said it had to do w/ my credit report. Then I was really confused since I was a few days late on my payment. lol. However I was glad to pay the lesser amount. This happened about 6 years ago and I'm sure insurance companies still figure in your credit.

that depends on the type of policy that you have...

under certain guidelines, that could be considered an act of redlining...which if the division of insurance deemed it as such, your agent and carrier would get in hot water...

switch companies...

i will throw this out there as well because i know people still believe this myth..

the color of your vehicle does not affect your rates..

if you honestly believe this or if you have a shady agent...call the illinois division of insurance and inquire and/or report...

Obviously someone needs to give you some assurance since you got it in your closed little mind that living in K.P. means not paying for anything. Good thing you're not a pillar of the city with your bias view on people from the projects. For many there, the four main bills are electric, rent (depending on income,) phone, and insurance. Anyone who has researched knows that insurance is available at less than $40.00 a month for both car and renters combined. Do your research before spouting off about people from the projects having no insurance. Then go ask your own next door neighbor if they're covered. I dare you!
Why Holly I thought you only posted in the Staunton forums now.
By the way you were ticketed for no insurance if I remeber correcttly when you deliberately ran someone off the road
