What I want to know is why the trucker is not in JAIL for killing a person who is (was) a great human being!!!!!!!!!!

She was supposed to yield to the traffic. There's no signs in that area telling traffic to yield to pedestrians are there? It's not a law to not yield to pedestrians in Illinois unless posted.

My condolences.

She was crossing a street in an industrial area with no sidewalks. Semi's make very wide turns, have poor visibility and they cannot stop on a dime. I'm sure he is very distraught over what happened.
RIP Brandy and lots of prayers for the driver of this horrible ACCIDENT.

That's why it's called an accident! I can assure you, Jason did not kill Brandy on purpose. I know them both and it's extremely sad.

Of course someone is going to turn a very tragic accident into major drama and argue over the internet like retard. Ignore the ignorance. RIP Brandy, you will be missed.

My condolences.
Do we really need signs that tell us to yield to pedestrians? That's common sense. This was a tragic accident that will change the lives of many forever. It's no time to be throwing stones at anyone it's a time to send condolences and be there for those who need us during such a horrible time. The Broyles family as well as the driver & his family are going through something that many of us have no capability of understanding. So let's not get on here to judge anyone let's just keep it clean & compassionate.

Farrah, you have every reason to express anger/sadness your family lost a very special person. I've known the Broyles family for a LONG time and I'm still not believing that Brandy is gone. Don't feel that you need to apologize, you and your family are going through a really rough period right now and know that many are praying for each of you.
