i really hate to admit it but i don't drink GC water. we get bottled water. he saw a special on discovery channel about McGreger or McGregor steel and the towns near it, having bad water.something to do with the rinse cycle. you all know i love this town, but to keep peace in the home you have to give a little. he smokes like s chimney but wants bottled water. huh?go figure

I haven't heard anything about a boil order yet but saw on the news last night a report about the bad smelling water. I think it was on KSDK. They were attributing the bad, sort of rotten smelling, dirty tasting water in the past few days to the very low river levels.

The water comany had assured the news station that the water was still safe to drink, despite the smell and taste. They recommended filling pitchers with water and letting them sit in the refrigerator overnight and said that the water would taste better.

Just my opinion, but we always drink bottled water anyway. For anyone with kids, especially babies that are drinking formula made with water, I would use bottled water.

Ahh, thanks mahz and btw when I said I hadn't heard about a boil order, I really meant that.... not that there wasn't one :)

We haven't been home much the past few days, so have been pretty much out of the loop.
