I'm nineteen and have a two-month old son. I definately agree that there are WAY too many teens that are pregnant. But, please don't label all of them, as whores, or whatever. Seriously. I've been with my childs father since middle school. About seven years now. We have an apartment together, a car, a job, and we pay all of our bills. Having a child, at whatever age doesn't mean they are "sleeping around", or can't take care of their responsiblites. Give me a break.

This website seriously shows how disgusting granite city people are, who cares who is pregnant in granite city, I AM! Is that anyones buisness, no. You don't have to be a slut to get pregnant, if any one of you 'teens' that go around calling girls sluts for getting pregnant would look in the mirror you would realize you do the same things, you just happened to get lucky. And one day, your karma will come. I know for a fact that i will be a great mom, better than most adults in Granite City, and i'm 19 years old. Being a parent is challenging at any age,even more as a teen. Just because a teen is pregnant does not make her a s**t. Kudos to the teen moms who step up and do what they have to do to take care of their babies!

In 2003, I was 15 and pregnant. My family name is respected (for the most part) as much as it can be in this city. They wanted me to give my baby up for adoption. I agreed at first. Until I realized I did this and am responsible for my actions.Nowadays, my son charms everyone especially my family, he's six and im 22. I have no regrets. Its been hard and worth it. When my son is old enough to understand the truth, Ill tell him.That he was not an accident, but a suprise. The difference is I didn't know how very much I did actually want him, until I had him.
