Ms. Ovian left an indelible impression on me. Unfortunately it was on my rear. I still cringe when I pull out the Wilson school yearbooks from 30+ years ago and see her picture. She demanded that you excel in her class by use of corporal punishment. I exceled at corporal punishment and ultimately exceled academically from lessons learned in that classroom about doing the work. Our schools could use a little "Miss Ovian" style control (not too much though).
Mr. Forbes, HS Vocational Electricity teacher, helped me develop a love for a vocation that has provided for my family well.
I remember her dumping the entire contents of my desk on the floor in front of me and making me pick it up. To this day I'm still not sure why she did that! I do remember her obsession with Snoopy though...didn't get that either. She was a scary individual.

Ms cooper from maryville school. My best friends daughter had her last year so I think my year was one of her first. Had her for 2nd and 6th grade.

Worst teacher was 3rd grade mrs graves...that woman used to tip my desk over almost everyday (I was messy) stood me up in front of the class one day and told everyone I was a mistake. She made 3rd grade hell...saw her at my senior recognition....she finally retired...and she was crazy old when I was there.

Mrs. D Wright from Prather. Its amazing how one first grade teacher can leave such an impact on a little girl who hated school bc i had a mean kindergarten teacher. Im going through the sane thing with my 1st grader now. Mean teacher now she hates school n is loosing confidence n grades are slipping. One bad teacher in the younger years can set it up for a kid to hate school forever. And a good one can make them love it.
