Back where you came from. This town sucks lol. Guess you can try some local bars ( just don't pick any one up). We don't have a huge selection of food places. I myself like Applebees, Park Grill, and Penn Station.

Maybe it would help us if we knew a little about you. How old are you? What line of work are you in? What are your interests?

Here in town, you can't go wrong eating at Frank's or Uncle Linny's - especially for breakfast. Before you go back home, get yourself to Lotawata Creek in Fairview. As for hangouts, I really don't know, it depends on what your interests are. Hope this helps, and welcome to Granite City!

I find more in Glen Carbon than Edwardsville. I am always amazed how some of them are so stuck up because they moved up the hill. Shucks for those of us on the hill all of our lives...I didn't know we were all so great just because we lived here

While you are in the area you may want to check out The Venice Cafe in South Stl across the highway from the brewery. Although better in the warmer months, it is an interesting and unique place. You can spend a couple of hours checking out all the stuff hanging on the walls in there. It is a mixed crowd there. You will see everything from tie dye cars to Harleys to limousines parked outside. They have food but I didn't try any. Very crowded on weekend nights.
If you like "out of the box" places it is worth seeing.
