Secret Santa

Every year our family enjoys helping out another family in the community by adopting them as their Secret Santa. We provide all the groceries needed for their holiday meal, gifts (toys & clothing) for each of the children and a little something for the parents too. It makes the holiday more meaningful to us. If anyone knows of a family in need that would be interested, please leave a contact email so that we may get in touch and get names and sizes/ages/wishes for the kids. Thank you and happy holidays!

I called the school. Maybe they would know someone. I just got two foster children and have five of my own. Needed help desperately and they said they would check into it. They would know who is in real need. Just a idea.

You could contact Good Samaritan House in Granite. It's a homeless shelter for Women and Children. They are always in need of help at Christmas.

My mother and our family are in a predicament ..

She works for cash assistance at the food pantry for $600 a month, but my 14 yo brother recently has stolen her bill money. Our rent is around $550 (this includes trash and sewer) but then she has to get assistance with the electricity and water. Our water has actually been shut off, and she's worried to death about Christmas. She has 5 children (including me and my 14 yo brother) and then 1 grandchild. She gets food stamps, so food might not be a problem. But we would be exceedingly grateful if you would help us out!

Her email address is [email protected] com

If you haven't found your family yet, we would appreciate your kindness and generosity so much!

If someone gives you the money will you put the boy out on the streets? He is the source of your problems. Did you report him to the police?

You need to get rid of the worthless little weasel now before his drug habit gets worse and he continues to make things harder and harder on your grandma.

Let's keep this topic happy! It's made me wanna help as well. Maybe this could be a good thing and more than one family could possibly have a great Christmas if everyone would keep the gift of giving alive and show the real meaning of Christmas. After all it is better to give than to receive.

Why? So you can buy some kids a Xmas their parents cant afford only so the parents can hock all the presents for heroin money the next day?

The people who you are trying to help have money for their cigarettes and booze, but they need you to buy their kids Xmas? Screw that!
