Honor thy mother and father has nothing to do with my choice of a name. I guess you don't "get" it. Never studied the bible either, I see. You have to be the saddest man on this forum. Better than the previous eight years? We're still waiting for the "first year" of Odummy. When does he do something good? Don't pretend you are new here just because you changed your name.

<quoted text>I don't really give a crap! The mother was negligent and should be heavily fined. We the taxpaying public SHOULD NOT be extorted in paying Ms Dugard the 20 million bucks. Like everyone else, Dugard needs to work hard for her living and to support her rug rats - no ifs, ands or buts.
WOW, how sad is it that your heart is so calloused. Children being kidnapped is not the fault of ANYONE but the kidnapper. The parole agent was negligent in his search and monitoring of Garrido. The state gets away with way too much negligence at the expense of taxpayers and citizens. They should be held accountable.

20 million!!!!!!!unless she was gonna be a male athlete, she never would have made that much in her life time. Get real, she deserves something, but not anywhere near 20 million.
It's for all 3 of them and their life time of therapy. The kids' college, etc. Lets face it these people have a lot to work through.

You clearly have never been in a situation like this. It's not as simple as that, though from the outside looking in it may seem to be.

You're making way too much sense for these boards. It is really pathetic the type of insensitivity that is spread here.

People act as if an 11 year old girl can get away from an adult male, who is much stronger than she is. And he had an accomplice. It is akin to blaming Ted Bundy's victims for "not getting away".

And a good read for the clueless would be googling Stockholm Syndrome , which explains why captive people stay with their abusers and begin to bond, as a coping mechanism.

The parole office failed miserably in monitoring this evil man. With better training and verifications hopefully such a terrible event will not happen to another child.

And pray tell, where is the $20,000,000 going to come from considering the State of California is dead broke?
This is also a personal responsibility issue. Like teaching your children not to speak with strangers and how to resist their aggressive actions.
I agree, you are correct.

Who cares. It is ONLY the taxpayers money. Our pathetic Legislators couldn't care less about the citizens.

If were lucky maybe the federal goverement will foot the bill: either by paying all of it or reimbursing CA after CA pay its share.

Its wonderful that Jaycee is going to be taken care of for the rest of her life but why do I have to pay for it? This is such B*** S*** that we tax payers are on the hook for the total incompetence of these stooges in the dept.of corrections. Wheres the accountability in this. What punishment will be given to the stumbling bumbling keystone cops who stood at Garrido's front door and never checked out the rest of the house. Every one of the parole officers involved that are still working should be fired immediately and those who are retired should have their pensions revoked and the state should sue all of them personally to try to recover some of the twenty million that we the tax payers are out!

OBAMA AND HIS SELLOUT OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE FOR WALL ST. AND THE ILLEGALS' ILLEGAL VOTES.

In California alone, WELFARE to illegals cost $20 billion!

Keeping criminal illegals in state prisons cost ONE BILLION!

Los Angeles County pays out $600 million per year in welfare to illegals!

While 47% of those with a job are illegals with stolen social securty numbers.

And then there's the MEXICAN CRIME TIDAL WAVE!

Who cares anymore?......

what are you going to do about it?....nothing!

so shut-up and pay....[sic]

Oh dude I know fuck So-Cal only cities I would ever live in now are Lake Elsinore and Hemet cause they support arizona. Oh and I got more facts for you.
It costs California 7.7 billion dollars to educate illegal children.

California spends around 3 billion to jail illegals

We have wired Mexico 33 billion and wired latin america 283 billion

The cost for social services is 397 billion for illegals since 1996

So John shut up and pay. Cause personally all my tax dollars are already being spent on illegals and so are almost everyone elses.

20 million is not even a dent compared to those amounts spent. Plus you will only pay like $50 - 100 jesus christ.
