Sat. ufo?

Driving home from Red Hawk at 5:13 pm sat, my wife & I observed a large btilliant white ball of....something fall from the sky into the wooded area along side highway 50 headed towards Folsom; don't have any idea what it was, no sound, smoke or fire accompanied this sighting or if anyone else on 50 saw it- don't see how they could have missed it as it was very bright and rather large; did anybody else see this, it was a definite "What the hell was THAT?" moment!
