I do not personally like Steve Cooley but he will get my vote. Why? He will do the job. The fact that I am a Democrat but NOT supporting Harris says how I think violent street crime is a serious matter.

Kamala Harris would be a disastrous choice. Her actions in San Francisco have just been atrocious, and they seem have caused crime to increase there enormously. She has simply tolerated violent street crime far too much.

I do not think the other candidates have significant chances of winning this election. It really boils down to Harris vs. Cooley.

Don't go straight ticket voting. Make an informed vote at the least. I'm green party too, but I would rather have for treasurer Debra Reiger of the Peace and Freedom Party rather than Kit Crittenden who is "out there" and has no idea what the office of treasurer even does. And Ross Frankel are you kidding?? Have you seen his youtube video, he seems crazy. I'll vote Chiang any day over him. But there is a tight race out there with the bigger parties and you have to look at the whole picture. We can't give our vote to the green parties for governor or senator or lt. governor if it means one more vote for a republican. Look at the whole picture and be smart with your voice. For attorney general Green Party all the way I like Peter Allen he seems like one of the most human candidates I've ever seen.
