Granger water towers won't lose their names

There are 1 comment on the WQAD story from Jun 15, 2010, titled Granger water towers won't lose their names. In it, WQAD reports that:

An Iowa town will be keeping the words "HOT" and "COLD" on it's water towers. The two towers in Granger have had these words on them for 30 years and when the city wanted to repaint them, they wanted to get rid of the wording.

I'm glad the city council came to its senses.

My hometown, Pratt, Kansas, has had "Hot" and "Cold" on its water towers since 1956. They've brought a lot of national attention to Pratt,

Supposedly, the city decided to put the words on the towers since juveniles were doing it anyway.
