State lawmaker wants to end HIV prevention funding, use the money for airports instead
A Republican lawmaker is proposing an end to a state fund for HIV prevention programs , a move that could seriously hamper efforts to control an HIV crisis in Detroit that has largely gone unnoticed and unmentioned.

Mr. Agema, true to his partys' stance, insists taking monies from the helpless poor and funneling it to his pet projects is the right way. AND putting some ( or most ) of this money in his own district wouldn't hurt either. How these people are elected to represent the citizens of Michigan who actually need help is beyond rational explanation.
