Forsyth is a republican and evidently a proponent big government.

The people have spoken and now he wants to spend tax dollars to drag this through the courts and try and squash the people's vote.

Grand Rapids will never be a growing city. It will continue to lose population because of it's ultra conservative foundation.

If he succeeds in his witch hunt it will just reinforce the stereotypes that are attached to this area, no matter what kind of art contest it hosts or how much they try and revive the downtown area. Grand Rapids is just a tiny town in a flyover state that no one, from anywhere else, will want to move to.

This is a question of freedom and the voice of the people.

It's nice to see two of our resident ultra-conservative Jerry's Kids have brought so much to the discussion.

It's against federal law, and state law, so if St. Stephanie gets caught with it, she will lose her section 8 housing funds, and WIC card.

Better to be a liberal city like Detroit? Shocking that you are such a big drug supporter. Sit around and do drugs all day and want to steal from those who give a crap about themselves and go to work.

The "freedom" you speak of is in direct violation of Federal Law. Of course, you, in your arrogance, want to say screw the Feds over this law, but that is nothing new. You want to ignore any and all laws that you disagree with. So do my teenage grandsons. THEY, however, will grow into responsible adults. Too bad you didn't have good adult role models to show you how to be a responsible adult.

Republicans hate personal freedom, love wasting money on failed policies, and love obstructionism.

This is a three birds one stone opportunity for Forsyth.

I'm not the one crying over this policy. It's your conservative buddy Forsyth. Try and follow along...K?

The King of the Topix Tards has spoken. Once again not only failing to bring something productive but actually slowing discussions to a crawl and dumbing them down to his level....so he can manipulate the discussion and turn it into something he understands.

Maybe your grandsons could grow up to be corporate strategy managers at a top tier corporate empire?

yes the sky is falling and no one will come to GR because pot isn't decriminalized.

Will be an interesting case, because it got on the ballot and was voted into effect but, It is against state and federal law.

Seems to me it would be hard for the police to follow the state law, and just write a ticket. Maybe it wasn't thought thru enough!

This has absolutely nothing to do with Conservative vs Liberal, it has everything to do with conflicting laws!

It's okay, Stevie. I understand. You have this need to talk dirty to women. Is your wife aware of this fetish of yours??? Perhaps we should be introduced and I can fill her in??? No,you say??? I do feel bad for her, she obviously has no idea what a dirt bag, foul mouthed, bigoted, arrogant fool she is married to. The ones I feel sorry for, though, are your kids. Your wife has a choice, the kids don't.

LOL St Stewpie!
And this from you who just worship's his pot, and meth, just as much as Obama.
If I shot myself in the head, I still couldnt "dumb down" to your level.
Thanks again for the laugh!
Be carefull Stewpie,.... did you see the van on the news by your house that blew up?
The fact is, marijuana is against frderal law, and state law.
A city can NOT take a vote on it, and surpass state and federal law's, and change them.

No need to feel sorry for my kids. They are well adjusted, do very well in school and respect and love their parents. My wife would feel the same way about you as I do. I had great role models growing up, you have no idea who the F I am or how I was raised. By saying I didn't you are diminishing the memories of my parents and for that you get a viral response. Can't hack it? GTFO.

Do your grandkids know their grandmother is a cratchety old hag who trolls GR Topix? Do they know you spend hour after hour trolling these boards bringing nothing but judgemental babble?

You're an angry old biddy, probably with many regrets in life as you enter the final chapter. I may be a lot of things but one thing I won't be is an angry old man filled with regrets.

Should Richard Branson grow up too? He's worth $3.8 Billion (with a 'B'). Do you think he thinks life is a Cheech and Chong movie too?

Old timers like yourself are on the way out. Times change and people change--in this case because people realize they have been lied to for too long. Your way of thinking is going the way of the Dodo bird. Over 50% of Americans now think that it's time to legalize marijuana and the percent goes up everytime they poll. At the current rate, within 10 years it could easily be 60% or higher. It's going to happen, it's just a matter of how soon. When it does...guess what? You won't be forced to smoke it, so chill the F out.
