Two charged after robbery, shooting
Both Michael D. Taylor Jr., 21, of Kansas City, and Stephen D. Manning, 18, of Grandview, were charged with first-degree robbery, armed criminal action and resisting arrest.
The charges stem from an armed robbery at the Zipz convenience store in the 6100 block of Missouri 150.
According to court documents, a witness saw two men, one of them armed, inside the store shortly after 6 a.m. Saturday. While inside, the men allegedly demanded money and took about $300. Read more
