Area rail plans advance slowly
The regions best hope for rail transit just put on some rubber tires.In the first detailed look at the plan being pitched by Jackson County Executive Mike Sanders, consultants have determined that rail service should be explored immediately on only two of the six routes proposed between downtown and the suburbs.

The problem is by the time the transit thingy is a reality I will be nothing more than a foot note to history , and probably for several decades . At least do an drawing and put it on the front page of the Blue Springs Tattler so I can exit this world with an idea of what I'll be missing .
