Russell Carver For Sheriff 2010

I saw one of his campaign cards and Im gonna vote for him!!! I would like some feed back from some others on what they think about it???

I'll vote for him, I know of him but I don't know him personally. I met him at grndfather mtn. he wwas over the security up there.....nice guy. He's gotta be better then whats in their now haha

I would be interested in finding out more information about Mr. Carver. I also picked up a " Russell Carver for Sheriff" card at a Bank the other day. The website address is wrong or not up and running. Does any one else have information about him?

I dont have any info on him but it wouldn't take a lot for me to just go ahead and vote for him haha Frye used to seem like a good guy but i guess power corrupts, I looked at the web site too and it says that its inder construction so maybe we'll find something out soon!!! 2010 can't come soon enough in my book.

I usually dont comment on forums like this because everyone wants to throw mud and say things that are absolutly false and terrible character assasinations. But I have to say one thing, if this is the tone that some people are going to set for the upcoming election, still over a year away, it is going to be horrible and a disservice to the citizens of Avery County. I hope that Russell will also post here and ask for people to be true and accurate in their posts, and refrain from making false and inacccurate claims, and allow for a healthly debate. I know Russell and I like him, I have nothing negative to say about him or his family they are all good and decent people. I hope he joins me in making this a good election with good and informative debates over the differences he wants to make over what I have made. Anyone that wants to contact me at any time concerning anything they want to question here, I am always available. I always put top priority to make myself available to those that have problems or disagree with policies I have set forth or actions my office has taken. So far I can say that no a single comment here or the topic that lists me as a joke has ever been brought to my attention by anyone other than people that want their idenity to remain secret for reasons I can only guess about. Name calling, character assasinations, and outright slanderous statements have no place in public discourse. Please be mindful that peoples families, friends, and children can read these hurtful comments. As for Russell, I again call on him to join me in working to keep this election clean and ethical, the citizens of Avery deserve hard but honest debate to make an informed decision.

I hope Carver is the answer to the Sheriff's Office Problem. Sheriff Frye only got in by luck last election. If the politics in Avery wasnt so crooked, we know who would be or present Sheriff. "Nub" Taylor thats who. Russel carver for sheriff what a joke. He got fired cause he was messing around on the clock with a woman in a church parking lot and also because of his temper. He lies so much people better check up on him before voting for him. Sheriff frye is a joke too. He won't even talk to you or anything. Why have a sheriff who won't talk to the citzens of avery county. What has sheriff frye done while in as sheriff absolutly nothing if it wasn't for his deputys especially ellenburg.avery county would be a. Bad place. So all that I've said vote elenburg for sheriff of avery county 2010. Your probably wondering why I like ellenburg it's because he has 20 plus years of service is a good loyal man and knows bow to handle things. You must not know as much as you think because Russell did not get caught in a church parking lot it was diffrent sircumstances and he has never gotten fired for his temper.Everyone has a past and weve all made misstakes the thing is we need a change in the sheriffs office and we need A sheriffs department.Whoever gets sheriff I hope they want the job and not just the name.I know all 6 who are running including Mike Ellenburgh and i think mike is a great guy but i could also tell you some things from his past and everyone elses but we just need to pick the one who is going to do THE JOB!!!

He's a wife beater. I know this as a fact not just hearsay or rumor I have seen bruises on her when he gets angry. She was to scared to try to get help because he had been a deputy and she said he still had friends there,and that he could find her wherever she went.Is this the type of person we need in a public office?

I seen the bruises.I will give him one thing he always hit her so no could see them. They were on her legs and upper arms and her back. I'm not the only person out there who witnessed her battered and bruised ask someone who worked at Ingles at the time she worked there,or ask a member of her family what they think about him.
