Victorian house draws stares

Preserve this beautiful home. It would make a great dinner or Sr. Facility.
Developers have torn the beautiful trees down that act as windbreakers. This home is a piece of Non only Fontana History but
It is a structure of Beauty! Progress is not alway6s about tearing things down.

D.M Donald built the home in 1888 in Redlands for Judge George E. Otis.
The 111 year old home was moved, in 3 pieces, to it's current location in 1979. Dr. Walter and Mrs. Green had planned a 200 home development around the home, had planned to live on the second floor, and had planned to rent the lower floor out for parties banquets, etc.
Obviously the Greens' plan to cost out well.
My father, Fred Seever, was the main carpenter on site, and he put a lot of effort into rebuilding the home and placing trim matching the original redwood interior. I admire the home and it's history, but I really have questions about it's unfortunate location.
