Gramps and the Blog Readers review the Agenda and Council Packet and point out points of interest and concern when issues are noticed. How any of the Council Members may or may not read the blog for guidance in order to be informed on what some of the citizens may think or take issue with is unknown. During the Schwab/Berry Era the Blog was blocked from sending email to any city email.
Steve Berry did continue contact via outside email for an occasional contact. Others have blog readers who then report to them.
Now that email contact has been restored to the city server (this happened after Steve Berry locked himself in City Hall), the blog will communicate on occasion with all city council members and the city manager when an issue or idea may be bought to their attention assuming they may be too busy to read the blog on a daily basis.
If you would like to be added to the http://GrandTerraceNews.blogspot.com Email list , just send a request to [email protected] Let me know what list you want to be on. Some folks like the Heads up List, where agenda items may be high lighted. Others want on the Sentinel Forward List. Others communicate and ask they not be on any list and that is respected also. Those No List folks only get a reply to their email they originate. If they say Please Post, their email is posted. Most welcome are documents not available via the City Web Page.

"Have no fear Walt nor the Millers are my puppets. That my friend could not be further from the truth"
That is the closest you have come in a very long time, Gramps, to the actual truth! I have never thought you as the puppet master kind sir. Perhaps if you read my writings as well as I yours you would understand that I see things more clearly than to think even for a moment that you are the one responsible for the Grandpa Terrorist agenda, you are just the one clicking the 'post' button. It is for that reason that your identity is and always has been irrelevant, as are you, its your boss(s) that are the concern. The meat cutter who will govern our fair town part time soon also answers to these new boss(s) and I fear for the future of this town. You are right about one thing, kind of. There was an 'old boy' group of sorts that had been at the helm for a long time. Now we have a new clique in charge but the difference is simple. The 'old boys' that got this city up and running at least cared about Grand Terrace and its residents. They made mistakes sure but at the end of the day they wanted Grand Terrace to be a great little city. This new regime cares only for the residents of the blue house, not you Gramps or the meat cutter or anyone else for that matter. They want whats good for them, the rest of Grand Terrace is only along for the ride, THATS what worry's me. I'm just saying.

Wrong again Randy Blue Mtn.
Grand Pa Terrace has no boss, and the blog includes input from many citizens depending on the issues up in front of the council or planning.
I can say for sure that the new desire to serve all of Grand Terrace, even if I don't always agree with the decisions they will make in the future. I also am hopeful that the new council.
It is immportant for ALL Citizens even you to hold the new council in account for their actions and keep them informed of all sides of an issue. Including YOUR Views.
I have less fear for the future of this town under the current Management and Council Elect than I've had for years, but that is a forward looking statement and must be qualified as such. It is all our duty to make sure that the City Council, Mayor and City Management is working for Grand Terrace, and not one individual, be it a city employee, or employee group, an organizational favorate, or a Favored Developer or Contractor.
Time will tell if new is better than old. By the way, the way Old was working the future of GT would have been about 3 to 6 more years max. FTC may allow GT to repay ill spent RDA Debt Funds without sending folks to jail, and impounding city assets to sell at auction to pay the investors.
Your pretend target has nothing to do with either outcomes. It is best to keep active on what is here and now, in the real world.
