It is my opinion that Grand Terrace City Council is limiting their possiblities. I have always felt that the people who worked at City Hall should live in Grand Terrace. That way they would have a vested interest in the outcome of some of these hodge podge projects they keep trying to push through. Empathy may facilitate a slowdown on projects that include dense zoning and increasing the traffic and exhaust in Grand Terrace. They would be more interested in creating a kid friendly city. One that built parks instead of parking lots and big box stores. One that would replace baseball fields instead of taking them away. It is a well know fact that the young people are under-represented in Grand Terrace and the Council isn't interested in changing their attitude.
