We loved the community / family feel of the event and how the community was able to pull together. The FlyBall dog show was a blast to watch, our kids just loved it. Watching the volunteers work together in the Kids Zone was inspiring. The Girl Scouts from various troops, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, Xplosion Soccer Team, Possabilities group from Colton High, members of Terrace View and GT Elementary School PTA , Colton LDS Ward, The Brook Church and The Rock Church and many parents from our community all working together to make crafts and educating the public on conservation all with recycled items. It was so very much appreciated to have the city take on the role to help faciitate the event with their leadership, input and guidance. We really did feel part of a team and loved being part of this event this year. We look forward to being there next year and helping in any way again.

I'm glad that the residents of Grand Terrace got together and raised enough funds to go ahead with Grand Terrace Days. I attended and was happy to see that it was a great success. There was alot of poeple and alot of activities that everybody took part in. I'm glad to be a resident of a great community and look forward to other events sponsored by this great city.

I am happy to have been involved in this great effort. I am a graduate of Colton High and raised in Grand Terrace during that time. To be able to see families come and spend the day together, having fun and at a very minimal cost because of Raina and Shad Boal blowing the whistle loud and over and over, many heard the call. With the economy like it is right now, we do need to pull together and work as a team. I would like to say as a past resident and a Pythian Sister, "A Job Well Done!" Our group, the Knights of Pythias and Pythian Sisters will gladly be involved in any event like this in the future.

Daily Horoscope for December 18

Libra

Throughout the rest of the month you'll enjoy the security and comfort that you gain from being in familiar places surrounded by familiar faces. You won't be happy about straying too far from home, and you'll rush back there as soon as possible. This is a great time to consider ways in which you can improve the appearance of your home or garden.
