Yep even you. Debate is fun sometimes its fun to egg people on or get under there skin a little, come on admit it you like it to. Kind of like GR Pete we disagree on a lot of things but we also agree on some stuff, I would bet if he and I sat down and had a few beers we would have a good time. You too, hey were just folks with different perspectives nothing wrong with that, that's what makes America so great.

Very true, and just the mere fact that the same people like this forum means they actually have more in common than you would think. Sometimes it just depends on what kind of mood I am in and the topic. Lots of times I'm replying "tongue in cheek" and it doesn't come out like that in print. Also I am a woman and use the name Alvin.

The Mrs has dealt with diverticulitis for about 12 years and the last flare up was the last straw .. Her Dr and the colon surgeon said it was time to fix it .. he removed 10" of her sigmoid colon area on Wed .. she is doing pretty good .. will be in hospital for at least 1-2 more days .. waiting for bowel to "wake up" from surgery .. until she has a BM or starts passing gas, they won't release her .. all in all, her spirits are up .. just a long healing process .. this was her 6th adominal surgery over the years .. not much left to remove .. I told her they were gonna rewire her head and azz, but she did not think that funny .. I did ..

Thanks .. she is doing pretty good .. just waiting for bowels to "wake up" post-op .. she is up and walking around fine, a little slow, but ok .. Her primary physician always sends her to the best specialists in area .. we are fortunate for that .. her surgeon (Dr Luchtefeld) is highly praised by the nursing staff at the hospital .. great Dr and just a nice person .. he is also the one we see for our "routine" colonoscopy procedures (if there is such a thing as a "routine" one)...

I didn't want to ask if you had him for fear you didn't! He was my 90 yr. old Dad's surgeon and Dad is working hard in the yard and just bought some new golf clubs! He had to have a temporary bag, which went well, then got re-connected a couple months later. Dr. Luchtefeld even called my Dad the night before the surgery and just really eased his mind, wonderful surgeon and person. She couldn't be in better hands.
