So you're all for health care reform too then right?
You mean the bill shove through congress that the public didnt support then or now? Hell no.

I'm sure you think when people said they want "health reform", they really meant that socialized medicine nightmare, right?

It's OK the dems won't mind getting all the Latinos votes to go along with all the African American votes for the next election. The GOP thinks they can win national elections without them. They are living in the past.
Um...ok.

"Latinos" aren't 100% FOR illegal immigration either. Yet another racist assumption I see.

And blacks have voted for Democrats without thought for years. By doing so, they have voted themselves right off the election radar. Too bad for them.

If the Dems want to position themselves as the party of no border control, then GO FOR IT!

I hope you do! The moderates, independents, Regan Democrats, and conservatives that outnumber leftists in the US, will continue to swamp you right out of power.

You fail again Paul. The public did support the passage of health care reform. Once again if you want to discuss politics with the grown ups you need to understand what you are discussing.

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_conten... The public does not support the health care reform law. Seems some socialist are in denial. Illegal immigration has even less support. 2012 is going to be a good year :-)

When the health care bill was passed in congress a majority of Americans were for reform. As far as today? It's pretty amazing what billions of dollars from insurance companies and mis information from teabagging dolts like Palin can do to public opinion. If Americans understood the facts of health care reform they would be overwhelmingly for it. I can't wait for the GOP to start introducing bills that take away little Sally's heath insurance while insurance companies claim huge quarterly profits. It will become clearer that you guys are out of touch.

Yes GR_Paul does fail, he is saying that a majority of Americans approve of this idea of ending birthright and therefore it should pass. My point was when health care reform was working it's way through congress a majority of Americans approved of it. So if that is the case, using the idiot's reasoning he MUST have approved of the health care bill.

Show me one poll showing Americans supported the bill that was being voted on.

Of course Americans support health insurance reform. Something needs to be done in that arena. However the crap sandwich we were fed by our esteemed leaders in DC was not what the American people were looking for.

You nut they didn't have a clue what was in it. Hell even the politicians still don't know what all of the ramifications will be. People were sold a bottle of snake oil by a blue lipped silver tongue devil. The health insurance industry does need reforming but this law is terrible. Wasn't your ol bud B.O. the recipient of the largest campaign contributions from the insurance companies? Last time I checked he was not a Republican.

Good Day,

Actually, this may be a good move by the GOP. By pressing this, repeal of the Healthcare bill, keeping the Bush Tax cuts, etc. they may very well be puting themselves ina good position for 2012. It is clear the change in the house was a referendum by the populace against Dems and for Republicans/Conservatives. If the Dems block them on these issues for the next two years, I believe they are only shooting themselves in the foot and almost certainly guarunteeing the GOP holds all three Houses.
