"WASHINGTON As one of its first acts, the new Congress will consider denying citizenship to the children of illegal immigrants who are born in the United States.

Those children, who are now automatically granted citizenship at birth, will be one of the first targets of the Republican-led House when it convenes in January.

GOP Rep. Steve King of Iowa, the incoming chairman of the subcommittee that oversees immigration, is expected to push a bill that would deny "birthright citizenship" to such children.

The measure, assailed by critics as unconstitutional, is an indication of how the new majority intends to flex its muscles on the volatile issue of illegal immigration.

The idea has a growing list of supporters, including Republican Reps. Tom McClintock of Elk Grove and Dan Lungren of Gold River, but it has aroused intense opposition, as well.

"I don't like it," said Chad Silva, statewide policy analyst for the Latino Coalition for a Healthy California... "

Duh! Of course the protectors of illegal aliens dont like it!

And if you think it will get anywhere without control of the senate and a sitting democrat president then you are more full of delusion than I thought. Grow up loser if you want to talk politics with the big boys.

http://www.deseretnews.com/article/700027727/... Seems Utah has had enough of the illegals also. Their new bill would mirror Arizona's.

The Senate will be 49 to 51. There are Dems that will come over on this issue if they want to be reelected.......

The only differences between the GOP and the AryanTeaParty is that they are fighting over which parts of the Constitution to destroy first.

An anchor baby is just that. If you kick one out, they should all go. Unless of course you are trying to say that there should be a double standard. Wouldn't be surprising though.

Because a person that ***ILLEGALLY*** sneaks accross the border to give birth so that child can get citiznship, and the parents that ***ILLEGALLY*** snuck accross the border dont get deported, is ok with you?

Let's cut out the expect bulls#it you on the left are going to toss up to defend this stuff, and see if this type of scenario is OK WITH YOU.

They know it's illegal. They just see the "brown people" as a nice source of cheap labor, and a good supply of potential Demo-Drone voters.

You can press these twits on why they think such a thing as this is OK, and they will never answer you. They will just find a million ways to call you a "racist".

Then they will answer to the voters, whom by the way, loser, support this by a WIDE MARGIN.

Maybe Obama's teleprompter will tell us why lawbreaking like this is perfectly ok, seeing that none of you can.

We don't destroy the Constitution, we try and protect it from the Crazy Progressives. How is the TSA working for you going against the Constitution. Why do illegals have a right to take from our fridge.

It's OK the dems won't mind getting all the Latinos votes to go along with all the African American votes for the next election. The GOP thinks they can win national elections without them. They are living in the past.

These illegals are leaching off our country. There is a connection between jobs, deficit, health care cost and college tuition. We can't afford millions of illegals. It's about time politians do something about it.

Yeah, whatever.

Deport them when caught. Fine companies that knowingly hire them, and check IDs at places like the DMV when any try to get a license. Army on the border.

Problem solved.

Sorry if you cant deal with more than one problem at a time.
