Where are the onslaught of reports on Gas prices by the MSM on Obama like they gleefully reported on Bush.... Those poor middle class families suffering under the prices and oil guys were in the White House.... Well, we are waiting.....

And you're saying that Wikipedia is not reliable for the reasons you cit but that Faux news, The Blaze and The Tea Party Review / Magazine are reliable / credible?
You ASSume a lot don't you?? I don't use any of those particular publications you list as sources. In fact, I don't read the Blaze or the Tea Party Review?Magazine and I read Fox News, don't watch it. Soooooo, how much PMSNBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, HuffPo, do you watch/read? From your tone most of the time and as angry as you always are, I'm guessing your head is stuck in them during the times you can get it unstuck.

You are correct, the Obama administration came up with the idea of sequestration as a way to get both sides to act. However, let's not forget that sequestration would not have been approved had the Republicans not gone along with it. If sequestration is implemented both parties will have to share responsiblity for the pain it causes.
Totally agree with you on this one Mark. Which is why I find Obama and the Democrats blaming the Republicans exclusively so laughable. There is truly one thing Obama is really terrific at...blaming everyone else and not accepting accountability for his actions.

Remember the fiscal cliff, and repubs wanted to close tax loopholes instead of raising tax ?

So now Obama does a switcharoo and wants loopholes cut off, but blames repubs for not agreeing.

This friggen Obama dictator guy needs a good whoopin in my opinion, but the propaganda news won't report a damn thing.

You don't get it do you? You will NEVER get it Dr. NO. You are simply too dense to see light. It will do no good to keep going over the federal budge process, the national debt and its origins, powers of Congress and the president in the budgeting and appropriations process, the politics, the negotiations, tax policies, spending and revenue, and all the the other stuff that's been discussed here ad nauseum.
I got an idea Dr. NO. You want to start your own colony somewhere free of progressives and all the rest you have decided are the causes of everything you don't like? How about Pluto? Its all yours big guy. Go for it!
They don't want to know. They don't want to get it. If they do then that means everything they have been believing in is all a ruse.

And which loopholes would those have been? There are many loopholes.

I've got a pretty good idea on which loopholes that benefited who those would have been. All we have to do is look at what Snyder has done here.

Why should the republicans agree. They got 98% of the permanent tax cuts they were after.

The same 1 to 5% Er's
so the Dem's had to settle on a $400k income to "raise" the taxes when the repub house wanted to use loopholes as the tax instead.

Apparently your 6th grade reading skills have failed you again? I have said many times I get my news from many sources, unlike you. I don't take just one source as the only one that tells the truth. If you look at the posts where I have put links up, very rarely, if at all, do you see Fox News as my source. So, apparently, being screwed up is all on your side of the monitor, not this one. Good luck yourself. You got who you voted for, why are you still so angry? Never mind, I know why.

Just today Boehner says their telephone conversation with Obama was unproductive and Obama was just making a PR moment so he could say he was trying.

Oh really. When Boehner is on record saying the got 98% of what he wanted and was pleased with the last round of talks with Obama compromising.

Of course the Teapublicans are going to say talks are unproductive. Unproductive because they aren't getting exactly everything they want. It's obvious it's not Obama that doesn't compromise.

952 days since the Senate has passed anything but minor legislation. When is the Senate going to do their job? Oh wait, that's right...it's run by Harry "anything from the House will be DOA" Reid.

Whatever SIB. I still say that 49 members of Congress are not the majority. You progressives and the media are giving them waaaaaay too much attention. I would think you would just as pissed as the rest of us that the Senate is doing nothing while collecting their pay and their best of the best benefits. But apparently as long as it's Democrats doing it, you don't truly care. So, whatever.

Nice try at twisting the truth.

This is so blatantly obvious. Obama comes up with the idea of sequester then blames Republicans for the looming cuts. He then stands in front of hundreds of law enforcement officials and firefighters and quips that these will be the first folks who'll get fiscally nailed. Of course, he says it's the Republicans fault. It's easy to see that Obama is simply trying to make the House of Representatives look bad in an attempt to swing it to the left in 2014. He knows he can't achieve his Marxist agenda unless he has both sides of Congress working with him. This guy is a real danger to the republic.

We the people are a democracy. The elected politicians make up the republic. If you want to join the enlightened group spend less time listening to fox news and go get an education.

Takes two sides to fight SIB. And considering Obama's leftist political training, it's obvious that his initial stubbornness is what's causing the right to take the same tactical position on this and many other issues. Obama is a European-style socialist and it's out in the open for everyone to see at this point. I don't think the Republicans are just going to sit back and give Obama everything he wants. That would destroy the party's credibility and their constituents would never forgive them for selling out. that's the game plan of Obama. Chess tactics in politics.
