o yes Chimp - Congressional Record?

How about some excerpts out of Bob Woodward's book? We all know how that works.

Woodward has came back out from the dead lately, presumably because he wants to get back in front of the cameras for some publicity. Probably had his feelings hurt by someone more important than he who told him he was even less relevant today than he was 30 years ago.

He came out the other day with some b.s. claiming he was threatened in an email by someone in the W.H. but when the facts were revealed it wasn't that at all. In fact the email Woodward claimed was threatening was no where close to that. Woodward was spanked very deservedly for that little ditty.

So it's really no surprise when he describes the sequester in the worst terms possible, because it feeds that same narrative.
NO. The President is just responding as he should to all the spin being put out there by the right. His narrative and actions are appropriate. And you know what else. Its working because the people have indeed figured out who the real culprits in all of this is -- The GOP/TP -- and House Majority Leader BONER's inability and lack of skills in forging a deal that President Obama can accept on behalf of the American people.

Again, the teabaggers DO not run this country and its time Boner wake up from his drunken stupor and realize that.

This crap you're spewing about it being Obama's idea and plan is more right wing finger pointing and fear mongering to deflect criticism away from the right wing zealots in the House and Senate who are really to blame.
I suggest you read up on the Sequester and how it came about. Try some other sources besides right wing blogs and faux news.
IF you could read, and trust me, that has always been in doubt, you would know that even the Obama Administration has come out and admitted that it was his idea because he just knew they would figure it out somehow. What he forgot about was his Senate leader, Harry "DOA" Reid, doesn't like working so he wouldn't even consider one bill from the House. In addition, they wouldn't even consider Obama's budget proposal. Of course, if you can PROVE differently instead of just saying that you know better, then PROVE it. Otherwise? You are just a graybox Blue and I have suspected that for quite a while.

Finally, you said something correct. The Tea Party indeed doesn't run the country. The Democrats are running it right now...right into the ground. All this hand wringing over 2.1% cut in ADDITIONAL SPENDING hasn't changed one dime in the spending that has been appropriated. In fact, Obama is in fact spending MORE THIS YEAR THAN LAST. What's 2.1% of 17 TRILLION $$????? If your math skills are no better than your reading skills, this should be a hoot!

Why shouldn't Obama want Deficit Reduction Package that includes Tax Reform, namely reform that includes closing loopholes the rich enjoy at the expense of 95% of everyone else? Why shouldn't the president ask that deficit reduction include revenues from the filthy rich?

After all its the tax reform part of Deficit Reduction that the GOP is so adamantly (defiantly) opposed to. On that issue, and that issue only, the GOP/TP has dug in their heels and confounded every attempt over the last 18 months on the part of the White House and congressional democrats to reach a deal and avoids Sequestration.

Why does the GOP/TP oppose the notion of revenues and tax reform so strongly in the deficit/budge debate that closes loopholes for corporations and the filthy rich?

NO. Doesn't work like that. You prove your case or just crawl back in your little hole and disappear. Just Prove or at least attempt to present verifiable, credible facts that the W.H "has come out and admitted that it was his idea because he just knew they would figure it out somehow."

Chimp:

The Republicans own this part of Sequestration.

Republicans in Congress voted for the law that set up its possibility -- The Budget Control Act of 2011. In the House, 174 Republicans and 95 Democrats voted for the law, while 66 Republicans and 95 Democrats opposed it.(Final tally: Passed 269-161.) In the Senate, 28 Republicans and 45 Democrats voted for it, while 19 Republicans and 6 Democrats opposed it.(Final tally: Passed 74-26)

Among its provisions, the BCA directed CONGRESS to find a $1.2 trillion in cuts through a JOINT SELECT COMMITTEE on DEFICIT REDUCTION -- which came to be known as the SUPER COMMITTEE.

The super-committee was supposed to meet and agree on a deficit reduction package by Nov. 23, 2011. Their proposal -- which could include tax increases, spending reductions or both -- would then get a filibuster-proof, up-or-down vote in Congress.

As an incentive to the super-committee, BCA included an unusual kind of budget threat: If the super-committee couldn’t agree on a package, or if Congress voted it down, then automatic, across-the-board cuts would go into effect, with half of those cuts hitting defense. These automatic cuts are referred to as "sequestration."

GET THAT CHIMP?

As anyone who understands what sequestration is and how it came about understands that the super committee could not reach agreement. Now rest is history. Sequestration, which if you had read the BCA, which I know you haven't, is the result of Congress' inability to forge out an agreement.

Its that simple CHIMP. Look it up and get back to me or you too can crawl back into your pathetic little hole and disappear. Because no one really wants to hear your spin and regurgitated Faux news and right wing blog crap.

Please tell us what bill has Obama submitted to solve the sequester. what bill has any democrat submitted to solve the sequester. The Republicans have submitted and passed two in the house.

Face it the sequester is 100% dreamed up by the dems because they thought they could play dirty tricks, now they are in a corner and are to lazy and incompetent to do anything so they just blame someone else for their problems, just like the morons who elected them.

You show that sequestration was Obama's brain child.

I've went through the trouble of laying out how we arrived at sequestration; that the REPUBLICAN congress voted overwhelmingly for the BCA of 2011, which provided for Sequestration if the bi-partisan 12 member super-committee could not come to an agreement on recommendations and report them out to Congress for a vote. If you can't read or are too lazy or pig headed to have someone else read it to you so you can understand this, then its your problem. To be honest whether it was Obama's idea or the man in the moon's it doesn't change the fact that Congress failed to produce a deficit reduction package as required by the BCA which Republican members overwhelmingly voted for.

You are one pig-headed little fuck aren't you?

Do some research on the subject matter and get back to me next week. Until then, just shut your pie hole. You've been paying way too much attention to Rush Limpballs, Faux news and the right wing blogs and not enough to accurate information out there which proves beyond any doubt that actions by Republicans on the super-committee and teabaggers in the House and Senate led to the sequestration. Obama did not force them to vote for the Budget Control Act of 2011, which created not only the super-committee but also provided for sequestration if the super-committee either did not agree on recommendation or Congress failed to vote on legislation.

Its on the web. A variety of credible & reliable sources has detailed and accurate information posted on Sequestration, the Budget Control Act of 2011, the Joint Committee on Budget Reduction, better known as the Super-committee, the processes and the results. In fact the findings and recommendations of the super-committee are on the web along with who the members were, what their mission was, how they were appointed, how they voted, how many times they met, and pretty much everything else they did over a 3 month period from August to November 2011. The fact is the 12 member panel deadlocked, their findings were never reported out to Congress and Congress never voted. In short Congress failed. Sequestration was the result of all of this. Whether sequestration was Obama's idea or not, makes no difference. Who's idea it was has no bearing on what the result is.

Quit trying to change the facts or ignore the facts to make your twisted spin more believable.
