At first I watched the program in awe as how well they were handling 8 kids. Then as it became more famous it seems like it went to Kates head, but Jon stayed the same, then it got to where he was treated as a 9th kid. I most likely will not watch if Jon is not on there. I loved Jon and the faces he used to make in the interview room. He told his true feelings about Kate when he was interviewed, but saying he despised her is something he might regret when his kids get older and read that interview. Hopefully by that time he will have had a chance to settle down from being degraded by Kate in the show and can explain to his kids why he made that comment.

IMO, Jon Gosselin is a fussy crybaby who needs a mommy. He is being horrible to Kate and showing his children exactly what a dumb moronic child he is himself.

At first I was on Jon's side, but now I give Kate my 100%. He is a Jerk with a capital J. Just my opinion.

Good Day,

Those poor kids, to be dealt the cards they have. Certainly a lifetime of therapy and drug/alchohol abuse in the cards for a few of them. How can there not be in such a disfunctional family? Honestly I hope the show does not go on for their sakes...

Jon is outside the family circle right now and thats obviously an uncomfortable position for anyone. We all know that Kate is smooth enough to have manuevered into a position thru the show, to have a convenient pulpit, where as Jon is left with TMZ....i would bet, she has a PR person and he does not.....

No, I haven't watched it either; A friend of mine was talking about Jon & Kate a while back and rattling on and I had to ask her, "WTF are you talking about?"

I do agree with you about Kate being smooth enough to get a PR man, but I think that Jon was to young to take on all this responsiblity even though he let Kate talk him into having one more baby that resulted in six. They both should take time off from the show and concentrate on there kids. How do any of us know that they are not doing this for the publicity. I still love Jon and his goofy faces. Kate does seem on TV like she is doing all the work, but she is a perfectionist and wants things done a certain way. At least she keeps her home spotless, as much as one can with eight kids.

No, You're not alone. I have never seen that show or ANY of the so called reality shows, such as...

An "American Idol", "Dancing" with the "Biggest Loser", "Bachelor/Bachelorette ", While "Surviving" the "Great Race" to the land of the "Little People".

Did I leave any out? The masses are easily amused aren't they.

I've never seen a minute of it! For the most part, I hate "reality" TV.

For a while there I thought maybe I was wierd or something having never watched any of that stuff, but it looks like I'm not the only one.

I watched some of the earlier shows....haven't watched much if any leading up to the latest stuff. The times I watched it you could see the trainwreck coming IF John wasn't the 'laid back guy' he presented himself to be.

"GUTS to stand up for himself". It takes FAR more guts to keep your mouth SHUT for your kids sake. If there were no kids involved I'd say fine. But their problems are not all 'abnormal' problems. They are normal problems compounded and magnified by the television crews they have had to live with. Kate's perfectionism and sometimes snotty remarks about her husband on TV naturally weighed heavy on John - but HE has played the victim and at least on TV never stood up and corrected her either. In other words he allowed some of her behavior. They both need to MOVE ON - OUT OF THE spotlight and attempt to save their family. I think they'd have a shot without the cameras.

I choose not to watch those. I don't have cable, direct TV or dish network and have not seen the Kate plus eight show either. Still, I can't stand Jon Gosselin.

Sometimes all you can get on the major networks are these mindless reality shows. I'm glad I have satellite TV. This is a great time of year for sports. The Red Wings are back, there's playoff baseball, and more football than I can watch. Now that's reality TV.

I have to add that for the most part I don't like the reality shows either. But this one was a little different for the kid factor. Kids can be funny and the situations they sometimes found themselves in managing all of the chaos was fun at times. It made me realize how easy I have it with half that many.

You've never seen the show, but can't stand Jon Gosselin? What's up with that? Where's the love....
