funding has ZERO to do with it, what passed in the house was enhanced in the senate, so it had absolutely nothing to do with money....no your little empty chair ran out to the rose garden and started blaming a fellow citizen for putting a video trailer on the Internet...

Then paraded one person after another for two weeks out to lie to the American people. Didn't send the FBI in or the marines to secure the area and CNN got ahold of the ambassadors diary....then all hell broke loose....

And you were saying? Nope nothing to see here... You must be so proud

What a bastard party hack you are.

You're willing to dismiss the murder of 4 Americans murdered by terrorists, just as were the American border control agent because of another Obama administration f-up called Fast & Furious. "Sssshhh" ... is exactly what you want to see happen in this case, not out of compassion for the families of those murdered victims, or for any sort of commendable healing the nation notion, but to protect Obama from yet another scandal.

Not everything has to do with smearing your precious Obama. Or in your case, does it?

When you decide to put loyalty for a politician over justice and American lives, you have lowered yourself into a whole new level of bastard.

“The State Department scaled back U.S. security staff in Libya in the weeks and months before the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi that killed four Americans, despite requests for additional personnel, former U.S. security officials told a politically charged congressional hearing.”(Jay Solomon and Dion Nissenbaum “Security Cut Before Libya Raid,” The Wall Street Journal, 10/10/12)"

It was the State Department tha scaled back security in Libya in the weeks and months before 9/11/12.
Funny how one person on here keeps trying to blame it on Republicans in the House.
I guess in liberal land, anything that goes wrong these day's is the fault of Republicans in the House.
They dont take any responsibility for their own actions, they just continue to blame it on someone else.

So then....after numerous warnings about how dangerous, it still was in the country, and especially in Benghazi....the State Department decides to reduce the total number of people, in Harm's Way.....and even so, this dreadful attack happens.....so, we feel the need to blame who?....

then bring discussion...it seems all you are doing is trying test balloons for everyone to blame but the administration. It's the republicans fault..they didn't fund it....but the bill absolutely got funded (they could even afford a marine presence in dangerous ...Paris) then it's Romney's fault because he politicized it and shit before he aimed...when it's obvious to the world that the one who shot before he aimed was Obama and crowd with their cooked up video apology....then it was they never told us they needed more men, but they have months worth of requests...then it was we didn't know it was dangerous...but they paid the peple left more for hazard pay.....and your lates is it was the victims fault for staying there?

How about you cut the bullsh*t and bring a discussion, and stop defending this embarrassment of an administration. People died, Obama lied...and sent of people for days to sell a different story to the American people....he should stop everything and own up to his bullsh*t excuse for not wanting to go up to a microphone and say we were attacked on 9-11 under his watch.

Good question Blue.
The House of Representatives had nothing to do with it.
It was the State Department that decided to not increase the protection that the Embassy had asked for.
I cant remember who it was, but there was a post from someone on this thread trying to blame republicans in the house for the lack of security there.
If I remember correctly, back in June the administration asked for increased funding in order to send troops into Libya, so that they could give aid to the rebels that were trying to take out Qudaffy (sp).
That was back in June, that bill went through the House, and the Senate did NOTHING with it.
But, that is totally different. It was just last month that the embassy asked for more help, so it has nothing to do with the vote last June.

<quoted text>I agree with you, especially about the something feels funny....but must discern between, something real and something manufactured, and this is the, "manufacturing season"....The fact that our investigators weren't allowed into the compound for two weeks, makes any conjecture by either side, questionable at best.....when did we become so keen on meting out blame to every aspect of every issue, often without any real facts....it gets a bit, tiresome...don't you think? Libya has way too many RPG's and automatic weapons, walking around loose, and it is my opinion, this was a planned attack, to coincide with 9/11.....We've likely both travelled overseas enough to realize, the State Department has always taken safety, very seriously....
Good Day,

Somewhow my original response seems to have disappeared - let me try again...

Regarding "meting out blame"... Personally I think it is part of the human condition. It has been around for millenia. The ancient Greeks and Romans did it. The campaigns of Jefferson and Adams did it. And here awe are today and it still exists.

Generally the State Department does take safety seriously, but I think it is painfully obvious the ball was dropped in Libya. I beg the question... Why did the State Department deny more security in Benghazi and then just a mere 4 days later approve a $108K purchase of Chevy Volts and charging stations for the embassy in Vienna? It seems to me those funds would have been better spent on security.
