At least he's earning minimum wage. That's better than you can claim, mr. jobless leaching off your wife's benefits.

LOL..poor, jobless little pippybob. Here's a hint for you: I make enough to not qualify for a subsidy if I have to purchase insurance from the exchanges. Fortunately, I don't. So, Mr. jobless leach...how does it feel to be a little piggy sucking on momma sow's government tit while you tell everyone else how 'affordable' what you get for free is? You are a pathetic waste of gray matter.

Notice one of the few fact-based posts offered on this thread was completely ignored in favor of personal jabs and convenient subject-changing.

If people want to swap insults with attention-seekers like Bob and Polly go for it. But let's not completely ignore the facts in the process.

Obama lied and people are beginning to pay the price for it - many of whom voted for him! No excuse-making or word-parsing is going to change the fact Obama lied about keeping your current physician. If the ACA-fans can't even be honest and adult enough to admit that than they really have no right criticizing anyone else for their opposition.

I agree!

Not one of you took the chance to be adult enough to comment on the facts I presented.......

http://www.newrepublic.com/article/115457/oba...

Here we had a rightwing media darling that showed the hypocrisy of the left. A patriot with a $54 health insurance plan that did everything but pay for any accident or illness that may have befallen her.

Regardless of the fact that under the terms of the ACA she could have gotten way more coverage for an extra $46 a month.

But if you aren't willing to discuss true facts, why not admit that if it wasn't for the shady dealings that insurance companies had been putting over on this country's citizens, there wouldn't have been any need for reform in the first place!

From your own source ...

[But Barrette’s situation defies quick and easy description. It’s true that she can’t keep her current policy—and that most policies available to her for next year have higher premiums.]

Obama lied and people who were naive enough to believe him are now going to be forced to pay more for coverage that some government knob is insisting they know is better for them.

What part of any of that does not fit into what conservatives have been warning would be the outcome?

Facts, Bob. Obama lied. This person is paying more for her insurance.

End of story.

Fact. There are now more than 4 million Americans just like her and the numbers are growing daily. They have the dems, who refused to compromise on ANY part of this law, to thank for their situation and they're not going to forget that anytime soon.

Here's written proof of the lie right on the White House website...what's the phrase?? "Priceless"
Quote so we have it before they delete it..."For Americans with insurance coverage who like what they have, they can keep it. Nothing in this act or anywhere in the bill forces anyone to change the insurance they have, period.

What is becoming quite comical is the defenders like Bob keep trying to change the subject. Let's talk about what is in writing and what a lie this has been all along.

Again you only prove how unwilling you are to back up your statements and/or are unwilling to accept the reality that apparently you can not fathom.
I'll repeat what you said "individual insurance plans typically had to be renewed annually, many were cancelled without warning"
I specifically asked you to provide numbers that represent "many". I gave you numbers that represent what the experts have projected.
The word "many" is not a number. Try again.
The rest of your babbeling post only represents one thing. I'll try to run this by you one more time. You know that guy Obama?? The one that is the president?? The one that said several times that "if you like your plan, you can keep your plan". I'm going to guess you're going to say he never said that??
No mention of grandfathering, no mention of cancellations, no mention of minimum requirements.
What part of the lie don't you understand? What part of the misrepresentation don't you get?
Change the subject all you want...man up and admit Obama lied to the American people multiple times. You look more and more foolish with every attempt to counter my points. You should probably move on to another subject as you aren't doing very well here.
Here you go Wiggles. If you're too stupid to understand this then You're too stupid period.

Would it make you feel better if the President had said, ""if you like your plan, AND IT EXISTED BEFORE THE ACT WAS SIGNED INTO LAW, you can keep your plan". There I fixed it for you. End of story. Get over it. NEXT!

Bottom line is this: Obamacare allows insurance policies that were issued before the law was signed in 2010 to remain in place as long as they don’t change their benefits in a way that harms consumers, such as by increasing their out-of-pocket costs or dropping benefits. Customers who have these so-called “grandfathered plans” can keep them for however long the insurance company continues to offer it. The problem is insurance companies are cancelling polices that are grandfathered and lying to policy holders about it, saying Obamacare is making them do it.

If you want to call someone out for lying why don't you call out the insurers? They are manipulating the truth and concealing the facts. This is just now coming out.

WRONG! If the insurance carrier changes the policy IN ANY WAY AT ALL, it is disqualified. Bet you didn't know that did you pipester??? The insurance companies are not cancelling grandfathered plans because they DON'T EXIST. Try looking beyond 2014 to 2015 and 2016. If you, just once, would actually talk to someone who knew what the heck they are talking about, you might learn something. Apparently it is just a whole heck of a lot easier to take the Obama talking points and regurgitate them over and over and over and over so you will eventually think they are the truth.

WRONG! insurers ARE cancelling plans that would otherwise have been grandfathered - and they are misleading people and LYING about why they are doing it. They are also canceling plans that are non-grandfathered -- plans that were created AFTER the ACT was signed into law -- and these plans aren't worth the paper they are written on. They've written millions of these bull shit policies and sucked people into buying them. You are going to start hearing the truth about this in the coming days and weeks in more ways that your little pea brain will ever be able to comprehend. YOU CAN COUNT ON THAT.

You need to just STFU because your big mouth has once again overshot your fat azz.

You "fixing" an Obama lie makes you a liar also...how's that??

By the way, as usual you are wrong again. Congressional staffers probably had some of the best insurance around and yet, they are not happy. Why you might ask...because the insurance they were promised they could keep is going away...and going to cost them more...
