Wrong. Nylon is much more expensive to produce and is a petroleum product. Nylon also wouldn't have allowed thses people on the reservation to made a better live for themselves.

So you can't counter his point (which was quite clear) but need to point out typos that did not impact his message in any way.

Sorry, but you fail on all counts...as hard as you may try, you can not prove my only motivation to legalize the use of MJ is to find a way to get high. The 60's and 70's are long gone and the stigma is also. Grow up and open your eyes.

Yes I use Rush...and will continue to do so. He is a classic, high profile example of what your prescription "good" drugs do to people...by far and away...moreso than any stats you can provide regarding MJ. You apparently are very weakminded and blindly follow the masses...good luck with that.
I never said anything about any good drug, you did in your hissy fit. I don't care if they study it either. You are the one perceiving quite a bit. Pointing to bad behavior does not justify bad behavior. Correct this is not the 60's or 70's you are the one that needs to grow up. I'm not the one that wants to escape reality. That is you, and no I can't prove you just want to get high obviously. Thank you for bringing that to everybody's attention. You are showing us how clever you are with statements like that. But it is quite obvious you are not interested in all this other crap, you are interested in getting high.

Even if to agree with your comment, what nullifies hemp as a very useful weed that we could easily utilize for countless other purposes?

Answer: Nothing nulifies the various, practical uses hemp provides. The only reason it is not allowed is because it is a derivative of the pot plant. Even though it cannot get you high, it LOOKS like pot....kind of. Any DEA agent or pothead could tell the difference between an adult hemp plant and commercial pot plant from 50 feet away.

What some of these people don't understand is that the Declaration of Independance was written on hemp paper, Old Glory was made of hemp fiber, the Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria were rigged with sails made of hemp and George Washington claimed that we should 'Sow it everywhere!'. The human race has been utilizing hemp fiber for over 5,000 years starting with the Chinese around 2,800 B.C.

Some interesting history out there related to Hemp and how the DuPont family and other industrialists who had invested heavily in the synthetic fiber, Nylon, during the early 1930s, lobbied the feds to outlaw Hemp and MJ/Cannabis plants because they didn't want it competing with products that at the time were making them billionaires.

<quoted text>I do not need to waste time providing proof of that claim. For you or anyone else to deny it would be pure ignorance. If you want a stat look it up. That aside, I agree with every point you just made. So you are saying mj only makes some stupid and only kills some. So you say it is fine to legalize it. But for the taxpayer that has to support the few medical affects, for the few people that are killed, or for the few people that are affected in any other way by a mj addicts brain dead decisions, to bad. For anyone that has a different choice drug, to bad. Mean while we will take other rights away from others so you can get high and not hurt yourself or others.
It is a conflict arguing that mental health is the problem of these mass killings and that mental health should be looked into. Then the same people saying lets legalize mind altering substances for recreational uses.
I was watching Cspan2 last night . They were talking about car accidents increasing a great deal since legalizing mj in Colorado. They were saying many studies show you are twice as likely to get in a car accident on mj. I forgot the time frame but they said many studies showed people have became 8% stupider (or have a lower IQ). They cited many studies on mj.

Hey smoke another one St pothead! There was no comparison to hemp with that cocaine statement.
Please point out where he said hemp will get you high dumbass. I read it and never saw that. So get the penis out of your mouth and explain. Or did you lose more than the 8%? Judging by your comments it looks very likely.

I, in no way, tried to justify bad behavior. My point is I want to have all the choices and possibilities on the table when it comes to medication. The medication they gave Rush nearly destroyed him.
There's a big difference between wanting to make good choices and wanting to just get high and there are known uses for mj as a substitute for addictive prescription drugs.
Please try to open your eyes and realize you have a very warped image of mj and people who use it for good reasons.
