The failing, for years steel industry, moved operations over sea.

But Bain also sarted Staples and opened hundreds of stores

Romney or his company Bain Capital (using what became known as the "Bain Way") would go on to perform the same kinds of business miracles again and again, with companies like Domino's, Sealy, Brookstone, Weather Channel, Burger King, Warner Music Group, Dollarama, Home Depot Supply, and many others.employing thousands.

The major factor you always over look is Romney was not using tax payer money. And made millions for investors and employed literaly thousands of people, that put their kids thru college.

Bottom line is Romney knows how to put people to work. His failure was the steel industry, and that has been slipping for decades. because we simply cannot compete with foriegn steel!

Lets look at the Olympics.......he took over a 100 million dollar deficiet and ended up a 200 million dollar profit! Did you know he didn't take a dime for doing this?. Did you also know he has been in public service for 28 years and has not taken a dime?

Did you also know that Obama's wealth has increased by 950% in the last 4 years. Thats not including the 2.4 billion tax payers have spent for their vacations.

I agree TBA.
What those on the left are doing, is pointing out just one steel company, that Bain purchased, which was allready heading into bankruptcy at the time Bain purchased it.
Those jobs were going to be gone anyway!
The left thinks nothing of the TRILLION's Obama has added to the debt by using taxpayer money to send jobs overseas.
http://obamanomicsoutsourced.com/
They just seem to excuse the facts, and say that it's o-k, because Obama did it, so dont ask any questions!
What ever Obama does is o-k, and if you dont like it,.. then you are a racist!
Thats all they have.
Kind of sad,..if you think about it.

Pointing out that Obama's wealth was increased by 950% was like shooting fish in a barrel. Every congressional representative suddenly becomes ultra wealthy after entering the Washington DC arena. All of these people, democrats and republican are crooks.I have an easy solution, re elect absolutely no one, and repeat the process for the next ten years. Show our government that they work for us and we control who works. We have a chance to make this statement by NOT electing Fred Upton, don't allow him back in the money pit.

Will never happen by ordinary circumstances. It will take a massive revolution that destroys the system. It will be violent and will cost millions of lives. Slave or death?

I'm just wondering is it really fair to make a comment like that about Romney's business practices, just because Staples is closing some stores in Europe?
Does Romney even have any ties to Staples anymore?
Also, when you look at the poor state of the economy in Europe, can you fault Staples for closing some stores?
When you think about it, Staples closing some stores in Europe is small beans compared to Obama forcing over 1000 GM and Chrysler dealerships to close back in 2009.
I guess Obama's business plan isnt all that great either.
Dont forget about Solyndra!

So, what in Romney's past would people judge his performance by? Bain and one-term as Governor, is about all...is there more?

Really? You're trying to use his ONE term against him when he didn't even RUN for a second term?

Is this the performance you are talking about when Governor?

"Elected Governor of Massachusetts in 2002, Romney did not seek re-election in 2006. During his term, he presided over the elimination of a projected $3 billion deficit through a combination of spending cuts, increased fees, and removal of corporate tax loopholes; "

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitt_Romney

And how about the record that he sat down with BOTH SIDES - and started his term out with making good on his campaign promises? According to his campaign and an interview of one of his employees while Governor - he immediately had a meeting listing all 44 of his goals and started to make plans to achieve them. By the end of his term - he accomplished all 44 goals. Yeah - that record sucks.... I'm still waiting for Obama's promise of transparency. BWA HA HA. Face it - Obama and his 'record' is worse than any other President. The reason he LOST that Debate isn't because he didn't 'practice'- HE doesn't understand the topics well enough to debate them. Your Ivy League President was obviously 'schooled' last night.
