So all these people 'crying' about Romney's Bain outsourcing....I wonder how many of them stood in line today to get the newest Iphone 5? I wonder how many of THOSE people would be willing to work for $2/hour and work the Overtime They work. Gee....let's get those jobs back here! Damn outsourcers! Evil empire Corporate Mongers......
We should demand they bring those jobs back here and pay Americans $2/hour! OR....$15/hour and what would that make those new Iphones cost? Americans are willing to pay 7 times more for those phones right! Who's with me? Let's GOOOOOOO

(Say the last bit like John Belushi in Animal House for the full effect.)

I'm having fun with the sarcasim can you tell? ;)

Hey dipwad the iphone manufactured in china brings in a 72% profit the same phone manufactured in the USA at USA wages and SOLD AT THE SAME PRICE would still be very profitable at 46%. How many chinese own an iphone that work there? None. Hundred of 1000's of jobs would be created here in the USA and guess what at $21 per hour the workers can afford to buy one and the economy would improve. More proof republicans are infected with stupidity.

I've been to China...does'nt mean anything, other than a longass plane ride....We've been outsourcing for 40-50 years, so throwing blame around, would be kinda tough, at this stage...don't you think?...I do believe, while at Bain, a certain amount of outsourcing, raiding pension plans and buying chinese factories went on.....

"Throwing blame around would be kinda tough", followed by the Bain comment? Which is it Blue? You just love that fence sitting, don't you? Oh well, at least you are consistent.

All of this talk about Bain Capital outsourcing jobs, I wonder if anyone has a link, to exactly, if any the did send overseas?
Or what about this?
"Jobs Czar Sends Jobs to China"

Looks like Obama is guilty of outsourcing himself!
Or how about this?
http://obamanomicsoutsourced.com/
One big difference that I see, is that Obama is using billions of our tax dollars and paying it to companies that send our jobs overseas.
I just wonder, why when they were handing out all of that stimulus money, they didnt have any rules about that money having to stay here in the USA?
Just think about all of the jobs that could have been created here, if only they had thought to force the recipients of all of that stimulus money, to Have to use it here.

Obama's own "jobs czar" closing plants, and sending jobs to China, but all we hear from the left, is whining about Bain Capital.
I'm wondering if any of those who constantly whine about Bain's outsourcing, can provide a link that shows exactly how many jobs they did in fact outsource?

I really love how Obama administration outsourced the security at the Libyan embassy to a British security firm who couldn't even carry guns.

No Blue, if you would, just once be honest, it's not about "attacking each other" because you do that very well when you are frustrated. For you, sitting on the fence is important because then you can say "I am not like you". Whatever. As for Bain being "completely innocent", it's in the past and it's convenient to be so concerned about Romney's past, including his tax returns, and to try to hold him to a higher standard than the President. You didn't give a tinker's toot about Obama's past in 2008. All I ask is that you use the exact same standards for both, but apparently, that is way too much to ask of a fence sitter.

Ummmmm well the way you started you comment shows your stupidity and you sound like your chinese and a chinese lover for sure. Anyway did you see the amount of jobs that would be created here in the USA and the amount of profit that would still be made? Next with all those jobs created here I think sales of the iphone would increase and so would shareholder profit. Another point is that lots of chinese electronics are preloaded with virii. Finally, the total blubbering fool is you really. no wait really you're an ahoe really.

Retarted??? LOL You might try to spell correctly when you're questioning the intelligence level of others.
Speaking of spin, how about your fearless leader lying to everyone about what really happened in Libya? I notice not to many of you progressive useful idiots are talking about that these days.

I would guess that Clinton and Bush share the burden on that pushing jobs overseas, since they both supported friggin' NAFTA

Well let's see - before you call anybody a dipwad - lets' take a look at what your source is telling you AND what it is NOT telling you. First of all - the numbers are all based on "Assembly".

"$7.10 for each phone, which accounts for about eight hours of assembly. So what would it cost to make the same iPhone in America? The Cresc team took the average wage in the US electronics industry of $21 per hour and calculated that the total production cost would increase to $337.01." "Assembled in China, the total cost of putting together just one phone was $178.45." - Okay - so we can conclude that assembly is only the $7.10 per phone - But what about the parts? Where are they manufactured and at what wage?

Well - here is what Wiki has - no wages but it shows most of the parts are not actually MADE in the US, but some are. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Who_manufactures_th...

Now - what else have they not told you "otherkindofretardican " - Well - does this tell you what the costs are for Research and Development, Marketing - employeeing the 43,000 they do here in the US. There must be some costs there correct? According to my research - the numbers you provide above are strictly based on 'taking the phone apart' and that's what it costs.

Now - let's be clear here - I'm NOT advocating that it is in fact 'okay' for a company to have HUGE profits. I am however, trying to point out that the article is either just poorly written, or intentionally leaves out a whole lot of information.

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/22/business/ap...

I think this last link truly shows the multitude of issues surrounding 'manufacturing' the Iphones here. Not that some people can truly comprehend what that all means - but the article you are quoting is really just talking about 'assembly'- NOT manufacturing it. There is a big difference - yes?! But note - even from YOUR article - it points out that one of the biggest issues is "US workers weren't skilled enough; not enough of them were trained in engineering." Add to that we don't have 10,000 living in Dorms ready to work a 12 hour shift at the ring of a bell and the dynamics of what this is about take on a whole new life. Is it about "Profit". Sure - no doubt. But if our goal is to have it MANUFACTURED here - rather than China, Germany, South Korea and Great Britain - you need to do a real Cost analysis from part to part.

And then - back to one of my main points - Americans have to be stop being two faced. If you REALLY want it manufactured here in the US - Stop standing in LINES and buying them! Some of the SAME people 'crying' about this stuff being made elsewhere are often the first ones buying them!

Well ignore them - I'm not a Republican. I was quite busy last week and will be again this week but I think I gave you some 'substance' on the topic.

"Let me be clear" -(gee who says that one)- IF AMERICANS are truly concerned about jobs being 'shipped overseas'- then how is it they can buy the Apple Iphone like crazy people one day and then cry 'wolf' about Bain Capital? I'll tell you why - Because it has little or nothing to do with the Jobs overseas - it's a political 'game'. And those of you whom want to cry about whatever Bain did or didn't do - well that's fine - but start being just as angry if not MORESO about Apple and Obama for what they do. But before you do - be sure you REALLY truly understand it.....
