It's agreed, but it seems that this is close enough to touch and therefore should be easier to eliminate. I don't personally know any of the big shots getting their pockets filled, and that sure doesn't make it right. I not one to just complain about welfare fraud and then not willing to fund the offices and staff that is needed to monitor it. It just seems cost effective to fund these agencies properly to keep better on top of the fraud. I'm sure every year they take pay cuts and client lists grow.

It's a start anyway.
Thanks, hope they don't ask who is making the complaint. Seems as if that usually is counterproductive.

Welfare fraud is caught more than anyone hears about it. I know someone and she had never been in trouble for anything in her life. She went through a divorce and needed help. When her child's father started paying his child support she turned it in. She got another check, made the correct call to give it back only to be told it was an arreage check that the father owed her over $8,000. 5 years later when she went to drop child support the state said it was fraud. She now has to deal with paying the money back for others not knowing and doing their jobs right.

I think this is a sad situation, and I am concerned that you seem to get such pleasure from it. Are you alright, Trish?
There is nothing sad about a woman defrauding the government for free money. It's disgusting, gives everyone the feeling that all people who get help are like that. I'm glad she went to jail too. This kind of thievery has to be dealt with.

You mean IMMIGRATION? You could probably google it if you spell it correctly when you do. Gee, I wonder if there are special hotlines for each of the other races of humans who are doing the exact same thing..Caucasion, African American, etc.

So, kind of like taking it from the taxpayers and redistributing it to Banks, Insurance Companies and Wall Street who just happen to have some of the best and most expensive lobbyists in Washington DC...
