What she fails to understand is that the bible is a book from thousands of years ago BEFORE science understood even how our blood cir culates in our bodiesmuch less how sexual orientation is developed from birth! With thousands of years of advancement, why should we rely on an old fairy tale book as a factual guide? That is stupid!

The bible can be turned against itself when used out of context, which is exactly what you have done here. God is a just God, and he punishes those who sin against him. This is not simply a mother correcting a child!! This is a state legislator condemming a segment of our society, as a result of their sexual orientation, to the realm of terrorists and a cancer to our society. Would a loving mother stoop to this type of degradation?? Hopefully not in my Bible!! I wish to tell you of my very best friend. John, he and his partner celebrated their 28th anniversary. John tends to the house, Jim works and supports their family one son now grown and married one daughter still single. John is the best cook in the world, I had such fun going to the zoo, art museums with them and my family. OOOO what a time our kids had together. Bet ya if I said it was John and Jane you all would be okay with it. Side tracking, anyways, back to my question..

Now I wish to tell you of a story of 19 terrorists hijacked 4 passenger airliners. The hijackers intentionally crashed two of the airliners into the World Trade Center, one plane into each tower Aside from the 19 hijackers, 2,974 people died as an immediate result of the attacks, not counting the after math, still not determined.

Now for my question…. How can someone compare being gay to being a terrorist and say being gay is worse. I can not even fathom the shame I feel for those who dare to say what she is saying isn’t bashing, isn’t a hateful thing to say. Please explain to me why John, who has the biggest heart, sweetest disposition, is compared to being “worse then a terrorist”.

Don’t tell me she didn’t name names. She used a blanket term that covers ALL gays Just like Hitler with his blanket term in his desire to rid the world of all Jews. This is NO different. Please don’t say she has a right to have her opinion. I said it before… I don’t care what she believes, as she doesn’t care about my beliefs are. I do care what she is preaching and speaking AS A REPENSITIVE.

It is different pointing something out that is wrong to one person but to say something to a room of people with entirely different views is different. Sha also claimed that "not all religions are equal" meaning basically if you are not a Christians, presumably a Baptist type Christian, you are not entitled to equal rights and protection under the First Amendment. Ludicrous to accuse innocent people who demand equal rights of "being out to recruit 2 year olds." Mrs. Kern is so badly mistaken, mentally deficient, or morally dishonest. Either way, bad for a representative. Ya'll who think it's a choice have no right to withhold equal rights from those who know it's not. Thank you. I really wish that my post would be read, and those who are saying what she said is okay go back really listen to what she said word for word.

People who support the homosexual lifestyle generally reject the Bible, and embrace Darwinism and the Theory of Evolution. How do you reconcile the fact that Evolution should have eliminated homosexuality very quickly in evolutionary terms??

I didn't compare being gay to anything. And yes, my post was probably somewhat off topic, but I would assume that's not unusual among the 600+ posts above. I just asked and scientific/philosophical question, and I am sincerely interested in what the answer might be.
