I LOVE Noto's! The family is so great, and the food is top-notch! They really know their stuff, and have an incredible wine list!

They use to have awesome authentic burritos.<quoted text> Kim wrote: Do you mean Little Mexico, corner of Bridge & Stocking? <quoted text> There is a place called El Gonadaro on Bridge Street just east of Lane Ave., NW in the old Lee's Famous Recipe Fried Chicken. I've never eaten there, but that is the place crossfire is talking about.

Crossfire wrote: I am going to Northern Trails for dinner tonight. I live 1 mile from it. Lucky me !!! They have something called a Wet Tostada. It is really good. It's a great place with great food and reasonable prices. If you are ever in the Newaygo area you have to try it out. The guys up there did an awesome job rebuilding after the fire. The place is huge, bar on one side, restaurant on the other and a big deck for outdoor dining. Just tried a place in Newaygo for the first time earlier this week. Mugsy's Root Beer Stand on M-37, next to the DQ. This was an old A&W and they still have and use the car side menus. Great food and the prices are reasonable.

If you like homemade food, Capers, in White Cloud, is very good. The Sunday buffet is yummy, especially the homemade potato salad. Yesterday I had homemade apple pie a la mode, with whipped cream and caramel sauce. Not very good for me, but it was excellent!

We like the Grand Depot in Grant. Great food, great service and a great hometown atmosphere. We are from GR so it is a bit of a drive but always worth it on a nice day :)

I haven't had it in a long time so I will have to make a point of getting there. I live in Newaygo but use to work in G.R. so it was very easy to hop over there for a "pie" to go. Now that I no longer work...well, you know how it goes. Not that into making that drive anymore. But oh do I miss that pizza. I think I am going to cry...
