CONSUMER CONFIDENCE HIGHEST SINCE AUGUST.....Many analysts forecast the economy will grow at 3 percent in 2014.....AP(1-29-14)...U.S. consumer confidence has risen to the highest point since August on the strength of a brighter view of the job market and business conditions....The Conference Board, a business research group, said Tuesday it's consumer confidence index rose to 80.7 this month from a December reading of 77.5. It was the second consecutive straight gain....."Confidence appears to be back on track and rising expectations suggest the economy should pickup some momentum in the months ahead," said Conference Board economist Lynn Franco.....Consumer confidence is closely watched because because consumer spending accounts for 70 percent of U.S. economic activity.....

Have you noticed that many of the patriots around here aren't happy with the way this commie socialist dictator's policies have limited us to such an anemic growth in the economy?

I think they'd rather see government policies that spur economic growth into double digits.......

Like they have in China!

Slowly strengthening economic growth, like we have had is just what was needed....anything too aggressive would be unhealthy and suggest a return to recession.....Many need to chose between Country or Partisan Politics.....

That "$3 Billion deficit" you're throwing around was 6 years ago when Michigan's unemployment rate was at least 20% you stupid F#ck - and guess why that was? IT had nothing to do with Granholm, unions, Obama either or any other other B.S. you're perpetually stuck in.
Your problem isn't Obama or liberals. Its your trailer that still needs a roof. Why don't you get off your lazy fat ass you white trash SOB and do something other than spend hours a day on Topix or listening to Rich Limpballs? You're a broken record Onutso - stuck on stupid.
Even you have to recognize at this point your boring tantrum posts only make you look silly and ignorant. Regardless:

Not one of you can refute the success Wisconsin is enjoying thanks entirely to a fiscally responsible conservative plan in action, that much is as clear as the anger in your posts.

On one hand we see the outcome of progressivism unchecked - a pitiful 3% "projected" limp with consumer confidence barely cresting what it was when it was at it's lowest. If these projections are anything like the projections of Obamacare signups we'll be lucky if we're not in the negative!
Tax increases and even more irresponsible spending, followed by the inevitable raising of the debt ceiling and continued degradation of the dollar.

And on the other we see the outcome of a conservative plan in place despite tearing of clothes and gnashing of teeth by the unions and progressives - a $1 billion surplus with promises of income and property tax cuts, money going right back into the job and industry-creators' hands.

Much like Obamacare's predicted disaster, you either accept these facts for what they are with an open mind, or angrily deny it with no brain at all.

That's how you're going to spin this molasses-in-Winter recovery? You don't want to recover too quickly?
"A speedy recovery will result in a recession". There's your oh-so positive liberal logic, folks!

We should thank Obama for putting his foot on the brakes of any speedy recovery potential. He's doing us a favor .... really!

U.S. ADD'S 238,000 JOBS, MORE PROOF OF REBOUND....CONSTRUCTION LIFTED EMPLOYMENT GROWTH TO HIGHEST RATE IN YEAR.....Associated Press (1-9-14) A private survey shows U.S. businesses added the most jobs in a year in December, powered by a big gain in construction. The figures are the latest evidence that the economy gained momentum at the end of 2013.....Payroll processor ADP said Wednesday that companies added 238,000 jobs in December, up slightly from 229,000 the previous month. November's figures were revised higher......THE REPORT SHOWED SOLID GAINS IN HIGHER PAYING JOBS.....Construction firms hired 48,000 additional workers in December, the most since 2006. Notice that the most current jobs report is not shown on this page? Wonder why that is? Oh wait, could it be because it was not the "roses and sunshine" news that someone wants to hear so we will ignore it? Oh well, life goes on. How about the most current unemployment claims that were filed this week?

You would know. Your trailer park hasn't changed much has it? Same trailers, same white trash neighbors, same low information minions tuned into the blaze and faux nose.
Doth protest too much with all this trailer trash insulting. If one thing has been irrefutably affirmed over the past 5 years, it is whatever a progressive accuses others, he is surely guilty.

Was it a poor report? Something you could cheer for?

I don't cheer about people being unable to find work. I don't cheer about unemployment being 6.7% or 20% whichever the actual number is. In fact, I don't find much to cheer about with the government, either federal or state, these days. And I definitely don't cheer about manufactured numbers by the AP or a Labor Department that is trying to mislead the American people so they can save the behind of their boss. Did that answer your snotty question?

Suck on another tailpipe or two Dizzy. If employment isn't maximized its only because the GOP wants to keep it that way. And that's a fact Stupid. Find out why -- there's plenty of examples/reasons out there -- and get back to me. I'll be waiting.
Whatever there pipester. Your "facts" are questionable all the time. About the only thing you know about a "fact" is how to spell it. Must be Mommy pays attention to your spelling. Heaven only knows she ignores everything else about you. And your blaming the GOP for everything truly shows how little you know.
