THEY ARE SCAMMERS

I know for a fact everything about this company there is to know and if you have been scammed and the owner is LOU PARAVATE get you a lawyer immediately!! He closes down most of his offices because he has bankrupted on them and he will start off with $1000 and there are packages worth $8000 for the same thing. They promise you pictures and they don't even have any!! You are getting scammed... keep your contract and ask for everything that isn't in your contract in writing because then you can sue. His son is a lawyer so how do you think Lou Paravate knows all of the loop holes. Indeed he says he is a member of the BBB but if you pay your money you can get out of the trouble. If he hasn't completely bankrupted against you file a law suit now before he completely bankrupts and falls off the earth!!! GET OUT NOW!

Let's get real here, folks. I worked for a dating service. In most cases they did good work. They had a few complaints (and I'll bet like most of the posts above) which were from singles who were just plain folks (4's, 5's and 6's) wanting to be matched with 9's and 10's. Life doesn't work that way. Just because you join a dating service, online or offline, you're NOT entitled to get more than you have to offer. REPEAT: the complaints I saw were from people wanting more than they had to offer in return.

This company is definitely out to scam people. They charge everyone a different price and they DO NOT PROVIDE THE SERVICE. I got matched with two LOSERS, and when I requested that at the very least I was to be matched with men who were not divorced with children and perhaps college educated, they STOPPED matching me altogether! Now they are refusing to refund my money and have stopped responding to my complaints. Very unprofessional and pathetic business-owners.
I dont know who this is but just call the office I am happy to help you I am here till 7pm every night.

Not everyone has the same opinion about MatchMaker...It's more of a personal preference. It may work out for some, it may not for others... But not every MatchMaker is run by Lou Paravate... Several of them are independently owned and do things very different... Opiniated people try and ruin it for everyone else...

Be aware of Matchmaker International in Kansas City. Good at sales to grab your heart, but do not follow through once they have your money.

No, the complaints come from 9's and 10's matched up with 3's, tops. Well, 3's if they brushed their teeth and stopped calling women c##ts.

Matchmaker International in Destin FL is using the legitimate dating site Plenty of Fish to find people to scam! I had some interaction with a woman on Plenty of Fish who goes by "TiffanyLynne". She INSISTED I give her my phone number and name. I don't know, something just didn't seem right. I gave my phone number but a fake name just in case. Sure enough, I got a call from a girl at Matchmaker International claiming I had requested information on the internet to be contacted by Matchmaker. I did not! She even referred to something I emailed "TiffanyLynne" about. I set up a second account, new photo, different name.(still me, they must be scamming so many people they don't remember faces!)
"TiffanyLynne" contacted me on Plenty of Fish AGAIN, demanding my phone number and name and really coming onto me. Needless to say, all contact through Plenty of Fish stopped after I gave my (fake)name and number. About a week later, Matchmaker International called me again asking for the second fake name I gave. I do not normally give a fake name. I am serious about meeting someone special, but I though this was the best test to prove that Matchmaker was doing this.
I find this really disgusting. If anybody from Matckmaker calls and you know you did not contact them, report it! What a sleasy way to do "business"!

I googled the company after they contacted me. I gave (Tiffanylynne) on plenty of fish my brand new cell number and heard nothing from Tiffany, but was contacted right away by Matchmaker. I quit taking the calls, and got several calls from another number, all hanging up on my voice mail. I called that number and just for the heck of it, asked for Matchmaker. The lady who answered said she no longer worked for Matchmaker and was tired of getting complaints from unhappy Matchmaker clients. She said the company was in bad shape and the owner couldn't even afford to pay her last check. I am back to fishing and glad I didn't get involved with the company. Stay away from Tiffanylynne.and Matchmaker in Destin.

Some dating internet sites are free. Makes more sense to go this route if you are gonna meet the same people you would meet if you shelled out the big bucks at Matchmaker.
I met someone through Fish, but Tiffany Lynne has been on there forever.
Buyer beware! If match maker works so well, why is the owner still single?

I am 100% positive "Get Real" is the snake Lou Paravate himself. This is his typical slimey way of communicating with people. He will threaten you, con you, degrade you, and make you feel as though he is entitled to your hard earned money. I have nightmares about this POS on the regular. Other professionals in the Gulf Coast area prefer to distance themselves from him and any of his business dealings. Just the mention of his name in the community you will get a grimace and a shake of the head.
If youre looking for this scumbag yes, you can find him living out on Navarre Beach probably driving a Jaguar XJ8 as he likes to brag about. He also likes to brag about his son, a successful attorney, that he abandoned as a baby.

As a past employee of MatchMaker International my suggestion is to contact not only the better business bureau, but to contact your local news channel and let them in on what is going on. Next contact the Attorney General's office the more complaints about the company they receive the more likely MatchMaker International will not be able to scam lonely people out of their money. These are just regular people putting people of roughly the same age together, they've had no previous experience in psychology or any other college/professional backgrounds. DO NOT GIVE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THEM FOR THE BACKGROUND CHECK, they will run your credit card information to find out the available balances on your credit card!!!*******
I too am a past employee of MatchMaker International. The BBB is a waste of time, however an attorney who is willing to take to a jury trial AND the news will get the owners attention. She does not want to pay the money to fight this in court nor does she want the bad publicity. Calling the office will not get you anything but bs lip service. They are only interested in your money or if your a female and breathing they are interested in in matching you with all the men they can not otherwise match. That is why most women pay a very small amount for their membership or it is free!! THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM!!!Also, On their website, the employee named Nancy Dale, is actually the owner, Nancy Schollhammer..
