Well I guess if you feel things like actual FACT'S don't matter. Democrats controlled congress during that period of time and were warned several times about the housing bubble several times by the Republicans for years and refused to do anything.
Bush warned congress 17 times.

Obama promised not to let Detroit go bankrupt.

Facts are irrelevant things to liberals.
And now that liberals are in control, it's still Bush's fault.
Obama swore that he wouldnt let Detroit go bankrupt,........
I see a bailout in the near future.
Obama money going to fix everything.

Detroit just needs to fill out that form that those people in line filled out, and get some of that Obama money.
That will fix it!

And that's why all of America is going to look like Detroit if we keep letting brown people be in charge.

A race war might be necessary. They have never forgiven whites for slavery and they won't until they hold the whip. Lock and load and let's do this I say.

The country would be better off if the darkies had stayed in their place.

Look it up Blue. Why is it that whenever someone lists another promise that Obama made and didn't follow through on, it's "partisan BS" but when you complain about Bush it's not "partisan BS"? Please answer that question minus your usual "the economy is booming" sentiment.

Thanks for once again not answering a direct question. Perhaps you could try it sometime? Of course, if you don't answer the question, you can't be accused of being truthful, can you?

That speech is about the Auto Bailout....About the wisdom of saving as many jobs as possible....Detroit is used as a metaphor for the auto industry...and we all should know that......Detroit's collapse has alot to do with OUTSOURCING....which isn't a democratic concept....Ask Mitt?.....

When your city is a rat hole, it takes some incentives to attract business I guess. In addition to businesses not living up to promises I believe there was a little corruption, mismanagement etc. I suppose your solution would be to legalize street drugs, tax them, and with the volume of business being done in MO Town they'd be climbing out of debt in no time. The only problem is we'd have to subsidize the drug users because they can't work to earn enough to buy them.
Epic Fail!

Every city, county, and state is held hostage by businesses that use the leverage of potential new jobs in favor of special tax breaks.

My post didn't mention that there weren't other factors, but simply that these tax breaks may have been too excessive......

Much like your over the top response about drug users!

Oh, so it was the business that decided who got the tax breaks and not the liberals that wrote the checks.
