Well, we plan on doing the work ourselves, so hopefully it won't be TOO much. Basically we're just going to put up the drywall, install the toilet/sink, and throw down an area rug. Nothing fancy, I'm not finishing the dry wall (mudding, painting, etc). I'm going to let her pick out some posters for the walls so they aren't 'barren'. She's 7, and this is her first summer in 'our' home, so I don't want her to feel like a 'guest' by throwing down an inflatable mattress. LOL Thanks anyway, though!

Bush does NOT want it higher. Demorats said they had a plan years ago when they were running for congress - all they have done is STOP solutions like drilling ANWAR and increasing nuclear power - both would reduce the dependency of foreign oil - make the demand lower than supply - and lower prices.

I know braindead people have comfort in blaming everything on Bush - but this belongs squarely on the shoulders of the horrible Demorat congress that is blocking solutions.

get angry - but at the correct group. You idiot robot.

People that blame everything on Bush, despite facts, are idiots and deserved to be called such. Bush is not perfect but high gas prices belong squarely on the shoulders of the Dem congress.

Could you possibly explain your reasoning on putting the blame on the Dem Congress? It seems to me that Bush had a Rep Congress to work with for years. The problems we face today didn't happen over night. They are the result of lots of bad decisions by both Dems and Rebs. To place the blame either entirely on Bush or the Dem Congress is just sheer ignorance.

Thank you for being the voice of reason!! Does it really matter who we blame? Blaming anyone at all is not doing anything to help solve the problem. Bottom line is - we are paying outrageous amounts of money for gas.....so what do we do as citizens of this country to take a stand and push to change this?
