Plumb's is the biggest joke I have ever seen for a company. It is definately the worst managed, especially at the corporate level and highest priced in the industry. BEWARE and stay away if you want quality products. They will screw their customers and treat their associates like dirt!!!!!!!!!!

This company has done nothing but take a turn for the worse since Roger sold it to these losers. They have no respect for their associates or their customers. When sales decrease these idiots just think they will raise their prices and expect their once loyal customers not to notice? FOOLS!!!!! I have, as well as several of my friends, relatives... gone to Wal-Mart, Meijer... just to get away from this type of management. It will only get worse for them and it only shows if you think you can take over a store on 4 Mile and Alpine with a SUPER WAL-MART about to open. What IDIOTS!!!!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the last two posts are from the same person.

My mom lives in Hastings. She verified this for me. The Meijer store in Hastings hasn't even been built yet.(They are expecting it in the next couple of years.) They have a Walmart in Hastings, but it's not a super-center.

When she said that they were moving because of the competition, I said, "WHAT? Like there's no competition on ALPINE?"

The only thing I can think of is that this area is more heavily populated, so the competition would be easier to handle due to the larger potential customer base.

I have to disagree with these people. We have had nothing but good experiences @ the new Plumbs on Alpine. They have the best quality and price of meat in town, and their meat department workers are very friendly and helpful. They sometimes have higher prices than other stores, but sometimes they have lower prices. Plumbs has brought back that Mom and Pop feel of a neighborhood grocery store, and for that I say Thank-You!

We love plumbs and am suprised to see these comments if you check the sale prices they are excellent and the meat department is excellent, I bought a whole tenderloin for 3.99 per lb and the meat is excellent. The management is superior there has not been 1 time when I enter the store that I am not acknowledged and not just by a store greeter but the staff as I shop.
also the store is small enough that it is not a chaotic shopping experience some of us just like to get in fast and shop not be at the same store for hours.

Daily Horoscope for May 20

Pisces

Your mind is razor sharp today, making it easy to reach decisions and put your thoughts into words. Make the most of this articulate and brainy phase, especially if that means taking part in a discussion or putting your ideas down on paper. If you need to defend your opinions you'll manage to do so without sounding aggressive or dictatorial.
